i Think they might have used some device on your stasus pods that lets them know if they are activated. So when we woke you up they were alerted to your presence. They shouldnt attack the other bunkers. They were going for this one only. Its possible they dont even know about the other ones.

=^= Julian to Captain Janeway, it seems you about to have some company. The Felians seem to know that the Melmacians are alive and they have launched an attack fleet. "Hi." <Looks cook up in down with his head crooked to the left as if trying to be cute and judging him> "Hmmmm, got any Glazed cat, with a sprinkle of CAT! nip?"

"What are these walls made out of ?.  Do you know ?.  Hmmmmm.  What do you think ?"

After a few minutes he returned to the others.*

"What were you saying again, Kassie? First check out the building? I agree! As long as I don't have to go in that Pelican again with that terrible wannabe-pilot gunnery sergeant!"

"Ummm, Im famished here." *Plays with his furry belly in a manner that indicates hunger* "I eat cats if you got any."

[Indiana Jones]

"Intersting... I wouldn't mind talking to some of your engineers to learn more." Jones then looked around. "So, what type of energy fuels the reactor? Fusion? Chemical reactions? Or is it something else?" Jones was very interested. He was looking down the corridor but didn't want to step forward, he would never get ahead of the host, ever. Of course that meant that he was most likely right behind ALF as he looked around, his eyes wide in wonder, espessially at how the base was still operating under the means that they built it.

"Dont awaken the others yet, problem solved.  I doubt they would react the same way I did when some ensign woke me up.  I was having a nice cat nap ya know."

"Ah yes, we had a war, it was rather unexpected seeing as how we are peaceful creatures.  We dont war we like to learn, research, do art.  R&D new ideas for medical advancement, new building designs.  I work in the field of robotics, as well as 40 others who are spread across the other vaults.  Our records were destroyed but I have full memory of what happened decades ago.  Thing like that doesnt disappear from ones mind very easily.  Wouldnt you agree ?"

JOnes eyes light up like a kid at christmas. "Right away sir... but shouldn't we activate one Pode? I would like someone as a guide so as not to get lost or mess around with things I don't know... I am an Engineer, but 19th century technology? THe closest I have come to has been a mueseum... but I will do my best, I am only stating this so you know that it will take time for me to get through all this... espessially knowing that historians will have my head if I mess too much around with these.... artifacts too much." Jones was also hiding the fact that he was going to really, really enjoying exploring this base and learning what he could from it.

"Hello ALF, this is cmdr cook.  He will be a special guest for this assignment.  Hes a science officer and that one back there whos drooling over the size of this place is lt. Jones.  He doesnt get out much."

"Good."

*Balkazar turned and headed for a puma's and got into it, then ordered it to take him to the marine base and into the courtyard*

<Gets out of the Puma's and heads to do some last minute checks and gets some rest before they headed out>

[ALF]

"Before answering, what do you mean our techology level is a problem?, its served us well till this point in our existence." ALF asked wondering what he meant by this.

"Show more respect to your superiors, CAPTAIN Brodie.  You may get what you were sent to talk to us about more easily." he said in a respectful tone.
