*Kassie then went in and found ALF in the midst of his family, ALF came over and with a smile on his face*

Kassie: "Starfleet is pulling out of here because we didnt expect to find your civilization alive and well.  So the situation is that sense you are here, we have to build our base else where and my superiors wishes to meet with you later.  After you had time to talk to your family.  My superiors wishes to talk to your elders as well.  We may have to find a new place for our base sense you are here and we cant be here with you.  We have a set of rules and laws to follow.  Its called the Prime Directive.  Do you understand?" Kassie explained.

ALF: "Yes, I understand.  I will speak for my people.  They are frightened of you but I have reassured them.  Ill explain to your superiors that we wish to co-exist with them, not to make them move to a different location when this place will be enough.  But I understand you have rules to follow and so do I.  You are welcome here anytime you wish." ALF responded.

*With that said, Kassie left with her away team and transported to Avalon station*

[Weasly Cook]

Cook nodded his head as he leaned his head agianst the bark of the orcherd. "Indeed... nothing quite beats a relaxing day outdoors...." Cook laughed and shook his head, "Indeed, you do have your own insulation. Which is good... if we have cold or snowy days... boy we hid in layers and thick layers of coats and jackets... but of course this is to keep us warm and not freeze out in our jobs." He only blinked, he suddenly felt a little tired, but he only shook his head.

"Sorry, but if I drift off... don't blaim me.. it is nice out."

[ALF]

<Makes a disgusted face at that comment about burrowing>

"We dont burrow.  We build bunkers to protect ourselves.  Doesnt everyone?"

[Balkazar]

"Does the planet have any ships guarding it?"

[Weasly Cook]

Cook blinked. "So many young children... never able to see another day...." Cook suddenly blinked. "Wait, bodies? Then... then some of them must be perserved? If that is so.... I think I should start scaning and taking in information about this new... creature. So... Tell me, could we use... well, teleport into the areas that were caved in?" Cook was using the word Teleport, because he was unsure of how to say or if he should say they had transportors and able to "beam" through solid objects.

Cook smiled. "Well, I think I know one area that Jones will try his hardest to try and get to... the R&D department... of course, I may be alongside him... so, this is level three? What is on level four? You said that past that, the cave ins accured... meaning, we can only vist four of the ten levels?" Cook seemed a little disapointed at not being able to see the generators that would or have been powering the base now.

[Kassie]

"How much duranium can we get in say 2 days ?"

"Lets proceed in deeper see if theres a good location for Ops."

*The procceeded threw the corridors of the wrecked building as they drew deeper into the building they came across much material that can used again.  They soon came to a huge door that was locked*

"Hmmmmmm, know anything about cracking open a door?"

[Balkazar]

"RESSIK! you put that phaser on your hand to harm another sentient being ill make sure your in the brig for an entire month! with the worst kind of rations known to man!, DO I MAKE MYSELF! clear!."

<Bends down and touches the ALF on the shoulder and uncurls him from his ball like position>

"Cmon now, I wont let anything happen to you.  Go over there and stay with those marines by the door to the stasis pod area, they will make sure youll be safe and ill deal with Ressik."

<ALF uncurls from him ball position and runs over to the marines that Balkazar indicated inside the Stasis room area, away from Ressik>

<Going back to there conversation>

"Sorry about that, ill deal with him later.  Hes my new sargent."

[Brian Higgins]

<Walks into the office and sits down next to the creature that was designated as ALF and waits>

[ALF]

"There was no life signs before because you have no equipment to scan for machine life do you?"

"Yes, Jones they seem to have expanded there knowledge from there original programming.  You see I programed them to heal injured soldiers and repair the base if it fell into disarray which it has.  But what I didnt expect was them to go into sentient life and protect the bodies of the fallen and themselves all at once.  It really wasnt part of there programming.  Im so glad they survived the years and did as they were programmed too.  It seems theres around 40 sentient machine bodies down in the living quarters.  On deck 4.  Oh, Cook, the reason you were unable to detect them is because they have cybernetic organs now, not fleshy like that of a cat."

"Hmmmm, very well.  Tho you better do those scans on the move.  Say is one of the team a cat ? im sure famished.  There used to be cats all over this world but no more.  Mutant cats destroyed my civilization and in a last ditch plan of action we put ourselves down here in hopes of one day returning to life in hopes that the mutant cats would be gone and I guess we were right.  So do you got any cats to eat ?.  Hmmmm, I suppose to you our power source is rather old, but didnt you bother to ingauge the secondary power source ? it was the big RED button on the console in the other room.  Cmon, ill show you."

*ALF walks into the other room while telling the quarintine team to stop poking him, he goes into the other room and sees skeletons everywhere*

"Ohh this isnt right.  What did you do the security robots!.  It took me 6 years to build this many!.  MAN!, I guess I gotta build them again, but I bet alot of advancements have been made in the years we slept in robotics.  Those skeletons were the crew who was supposed to man the stasis pods for our life signs and such to make sure there alright.  I think old age got to them finally."  <Snickers>  "Tho they were old alredy when they were put down here with us." <Goes to press the BIG RED BUTTON>

*After pressing the BIG RED BUTTON, the entire place lights up, in the light the area could be seen more clearly, the ceiling of the ops room was as big as any other room with an elevator in the back as the doors open up.  In the Stasis pod room, there could be roughly 5,000 pods in this one room but only 2500 of them light up to signal they are still active*

"Why didnt you just press the button to wake us all up ? and to initiate the power reboot.  Theres about 10 other lvls to this facility."

*After the quarentine team signaled the all clear, ALF goes and starts to survey how many pods are still working with his people still alive inside, out of the 5000 pods only 2500 pods were active, but only 1500 pods can be re-opened to allow ALF's race to emerge from there sleep, the other pods were shut down or destroyed from the corrosion of time*

"Soooo, what will you do with us now ?"

He followed with the Commodore to the door where the Captain awaited.
"I may need more refreshing. What specifically shall I be looking for? If I am looking for something specific".

[Jacob Ressik]

"Yes Sir" Sgt Ressik responds and heads over to the computer, after enter a few things the computer, taking the footage back to the estimated time of death he sees somthing extremly interesting.

The Video Footage shows a captive Marine being hustled into the room zooming in on his soldiers he recogises his Rank

Why do you say that Ensign? Mr Alfdid give us permission to search around in the debri. I remember him saying as we were leaving, to look out for some crystal of a sort. And to let him know if we find one. Perhaps it is better if we retrieve the closest power source, and if it is this crystal we can contact the admiral and let alf know.

[Marcus Brodie]

Captain Brodie puts his hands firmly behind his back.

"This is a problem, a very big one indeed. Might you direct me toward the Marine CO. Forgive my paranoia but i prefer to deal with commanding officers. It keeps things clear."

"Hmmmmm, yes, the crystals can recall information very fast but the crystals also have more practical use as well.  There are some rare crystals we found on this planet when we were in our prime, oh I wish for those days again.  But there are some deposits of crystals that can be used for Data storage and for power useage as well.  Thats why I asked your officers to return any crystals they may find.  Theres some data we wish to have back.  Mostly its data to teach our youngins about our past history.  About the war and everything.  Those crystals hold the REAL occurances of the war.  They have the right to know what really happened.  Amongst other things." Alf said as he started to doze off.
