*after the first pod opened, the hairy looking humanoid began to awake. suddenly a high pitch squeel could be heard comin from the being. It started to hold its through as if it was suffering from the air it was breathing*

OCC: aw i though we were gonna have fun killing robots, were not in the stasus room yet we are still in the first one. the stasus room is crawling with the bots everywhere.

ICC: Uh do you wanna help us get rid of the rest of these robots first??

*Brian stood there sense Janeway and Ghemor left and till they returned, taking scans however on Janeways return, they saw next to the wall a small pile of still activated crystals varying in size and colors.  Some were damaged others were still operational*

"Captain, I dug these up crystals up, im detecting another quite sizeable room 30 meters past the debri.  I suggest we use transporters to remove the dirt but set the transporters for only debri so if theres any artifacts under the debri it wont be transported away.  Also theres been some of these ALF creatures coming down every now and then asking if I wanted to eat anything.  They dont seem threatening or any of the like.  Some of the younger ALFs have been assisting me to remove the crystal's they seem to be hardy workers and very productive as well.  They seemed quite disappointed when they found some of there crystals broken and destroyed by the cave in's." he reported.

"I don't know if i can Commodore, i was ordered to speak to the CO. I first need to consult the Admiral. I believe there is an old earth phrase, don't kill the messenger. I need clearance to do anything other than ordered. If you would excuse me for a moment, it will not take long."

"I think it would be wise to tell the Marines about this.  Whatcha think ?"

OFF: Hodson.... if you are with us on this mission then your not underground with them. Your up on the surface with us. Only three of them went down there. So how did you? without gettting lost? please stay on the surface.

<Getting up from his kneeled position>

"There my brothers.  My brothers didnt go into stasis as planned.  My brothers were part of the best trained of our people.  Civilians were to go into stasis first then followed by the military.  It was what you would call a 'Last stand'.  You see those cats I mentioned before.  Well they must have attacked when our military was in the process of putting themselves into stasis but my brothers didnt make it.  By the looks of it they died fighting.  I suppose its the way they wanted to go.  They never wanted me to join the military.  They wished me to serve our people in another service, so I went into robotics to protect our people and to provide them with a body if needed.  Our people found a way to turn a brain into a cybernetic brain while not destroying the persons memories and such.  Then there new brain would be inserted into a robots body and they would act as normal, but with a cybernetic body."

"However all 60 of these bodies looks like something of higher fire power shot them, it wasnt the cat race who did this, they didnt have fire power such as this.  Somehow there bodies are perfectly preserved in a chasis of ice.  Hmmmmmm, this is almost impossible.  Unless, no that must not be.  I made micro robots that can repair a body but im guessing they took on a life of there own and in order to do there job and to stay alive they must have developed a conscious mind of there own and put themselves into a sort of stasis like I was.  Except they covered the bodies in there stasis mode.  They froze themselves and the bodies they were trying to repair.  REMARKABLE!"

"As you may or may not know Professer Remstein was taken prisioner when his ship was attacked by the Jarkenan's, Professer Ramstein has Information that we can not let fall into Jarkenan hands, we found out the location he is being held.  The Balle Citadell, We launched an assualt on the citadell 10 hours ago....it failed, I'm Requesting assistence from the marines, can you help us."

"Hmmmm, I will speak for my people.  Your officers can go as far as the cave-ins but no further.  We have just met and I dont think it would be wise to have strangers in the dome's just yet.  We need a level of trust before that can take place.  My people have been cut off from the universe for centuries.  We dont know who to trust and who not to just yet.  So before any information can be exchanged there must be a level of trust and cooperation first."

"Janeway, you may go and look at the cave-ins but if you find anything please dont take anything.  I was told our library was one of the first places to be cut off.  Theres some artifacts down there that we wish to recover.  The micro-machine's will be watching you but they wont harm you.  You have my word on that."

Cook only agreed nodding his head, momentarily returning to his past but he snapped himself out of it. "Yes, it isn't easy to forget life changing events... I will arrange for some of our historians to gather what you know."
