Marines, i want you to secure the area. If there are any survivors, i want to know. I want them alive. We need to find out how they knew about the Melmacians awakening. Move out.

(OFF: will use an excuse that they had a device on the stasus pods to alert them when they were activated. They didnt know about the dome.)

Cook looked around, he wasn't asking any questions, because... well, he asked a lot last time he was here... but his eyes widened at hearing about the Crystals. "What? You... you found out how to do that? Amazing... simple amazing."

Cook chuckled a little. "Well, I wouldn't stop talking because of something like that... but... I am still bound by law... and it is up to the Admiral to decide that course of action... if it needs to be done." He was also mentally thankful that they didn't eat cats anymore. "Interesting... that would be amazing if some of those crystals were surviving." Cook was really only intent on listening at the moment, however he did have a question. "Can you tell a little about what you know of the stars? Do you have shapes created by stars? Telescopes?" He was interested to know about the knowledge of astronomy that they had.

Jones was staying quiet... he was however listening to every word about the crystals.

[Brian Higgins]

"Mr Ghemor, if you attempt to take anything from these people, you will violate the prime directive and I will have you escorted to the brig by my officers if I catch you stealing anything from these people, DO! I may myself clear?"

<Turning to Janeway>

"I think if we find anything we best return it to the rightful owner's, if we take anything without prior permission it may jepordize everything that we are trying to do here."

[ALF]

"Hmmmm, we been on this planet for almost 30 thousand Melmacian yrs.  We ate cats you see, this planet was once abundant with them.  However, the scientists who were working on a way to make the cats more plumpy made a mistake and made the cats grow instead of getting plumpy, they grew intelligence and rebeled.  We werent expecting this but we learned how to fight really quickly.  Lots of blood was shed that initial day."

"My race likes to be at peace instead of war you see.  Our technology revolves around that.  Enhancing our food source, defense, and longevity.  Thats what our technology was formed around.  We are researchers, scientists, farmers.  We are also open to new idea's, new thoughts."

"Hmmmmm, Traveling the Stars you mean ?.  We never thought about that, we wondered what it would be like but never had the need of it.  Tho we have been in stasis so new times calls for new measures of exploration.  We dont have the means to travel there ourselves but we wouldnt turn down such a fascinating offer to expand our knowledge and experiences."

[Janeway]

*after moving in and taking cover on the left side of the room, the Captain starts shooting the robots*

So im guessing we brought these grenades for nothing?? hmm.

*as the room starts to fill up with more robots, Janeway hears the Admiral talking about taking this room, then watches as the mobile emitters suddenly wouldn't work. She takes out her tricorder and runs a scan*

hmm there seems to be some kind of radiation being emmitted through the complex. It doesn't seem to effect us or the robots, im guessing because whoever built this place, didn't want have a chance of destroying the robots or the people in the stasus pods. I cant explain it right now i'd have to run a few tests.

Oh Admiral, did you realise your grenade belt has a few emp grenades attached? if all goes well they should disable the robots. They would disable any electronic devices in the area but that should be ok, it shouldnt effect our weapons.

*looks at the belt of grenades noticing a few emp grenades attached*

"Everything is quiet except for the fact ALF just ran threw to the domes about 6 hours ago.  So hes probly down there still.  He should be told what happened."

[Joe Braxton]

"I think we should definitely do that. And we should leave our security escort here, I guess."

*So Joe and Kassie headed back to the exit of the building where they met Julian again. Together, they returned to the Marines Main Ops.*

"Oh the usual preparing to gain the trust of these fur balls.  Nothing of much else to report besides that.  Oh and I took the liberty to beam down my own men to secure the entrance to the hide out as you say.  They arent mobile emitters but they will do the job." he said with sarcasm.

As you wish mr Alf. I understand that a level of trust must be maintained. Lt. Kassie, Mr Cook, Mr Jones, you all seem very quiet. Do you have any questions for Alf?

[Kassie]

"Just what I was thinking.  I think we should also have an escape hatch or someway to escape the base on foot if the base is over runned or something.  Make several of these hatches instead of just 1, make several so more people can attempt to get away.  If needed."

"Crystal Sir" he responds to Lt Colonel Balkazars question to weather he made himself clear.

in a bit of a sulky mode Sgt Ressik didn't notice much until the Lt gave the report to Balkazar.

[ALF]

*Alf spent the rest of the day with his family.  Finding out what all happened while they slept and who was in charge this time.  It was found out that some sort of energy draining cloud came threw and wiped out the base above.  While they remained down inside the planet safe from the onslaught.  It was found out that when the cloud attacked they closed every hole into there city and bunkered down inside the Domes till it was over.  It was later found out that the micro-machines did there job and protected the survivors from the onslaught of the mutant cats.  ALF was much pleased that his creations did there job and protected themselves and the survivors of his species.  Much knowledge was traded between the species and it was decided sense ALF had first contact with these humanoid's it should be him to speak to them on there behalf, ALF readily agreed as his emotions took over and started to weep happy tears to see his family alive and well.  After all the knowledge was traded, ALF got to see his micro-machines creation's form into a human being and talked to him, he was happy to see his creations had much to share for they were the ones to witness everything.  ALF and the Avatar took a stroll and the avatar explained what had happened from the day they realized sentient life to this day they finally got to meet.  He explained strange lizard (Heraan) warriors came and tried to destroy everything on the planet but the lizards didnt find anything.  The avatar later explained how the micro-machines maintained the memories of everyone who died in the war.  From a child all the way to ALF's brother's the avatar had every memory of the race.  The Avatar was the races librarian and protector.  But now that the Avatar's creator is back, he can now take care of his people.  ALF explained to the Avatar how these Starfleet are of no threat, and they should be trusted.  The Avatar agreed*

OOC**The Micro-machines are the OPPOSITE! of the replicators.  The Micro machines want peace not war.  Hope I didnt go overboard.

Thnakyou Miss Janeway. Mr Alf, with your permission, i would like to have Miss Janeway here and her team to clear up the debree at the cave in site. we have technology that can remove the debri with ease, which will also help prevent any of your items down there get damaged. Infact, we are about to use this technology to transport to our starbase, which is what we call the place where we live.
