"Hmmmmm, to answer that stranger's question.  We use the crystals to store data or as I said before to power our bases."

"Hmmmmm, I work on my micro-machines, or USED to anyway.  But I like to enjoy life, enjoy the sun beating down on me and warm myself, when it gets cold out I like to stay near the fire tho if needed ill go outside and work.  I atleast have self insulation." <Snickers at his own joke>

Cook watched at the two transported away.

He then turns to Janeway. "Okay I think I will give you some help down their, if you don't mind that is." Cook took one last look at the outdoors knowing that he would be working with dirk and rubble, something that he had wanted to do, kind of like the archeologist that he read so much about.

"Wha.....Its a skeleton.  Perfectly preserved.  <scans the body> according to the tricorder the date of which the person died was the year 2006.  But it doesnt look like its been decaying at all for almost 1k+ years.  This is starting to feel really spooky.  Lets look around some more and dont open any more pods."

*They went to what looked like the command area, the computers looked like they are dated back to the year 2200.  However, something must have happened because theres more skeletons all over the place.  Kassie looked over the entire room in gruesome horror as things started to move.  Old style security droids came online*

"I think we shouldnt be here just yet.  Lets get out of here!"

"Straight to the point, I like that.  Thank you for the information.  You can rest assured that we will protect your race, we believe every species that has sentient life no matter what form should live how they choose.  Starfleet and Marines fight against injustice and protects those weaker then themselves from the strong.  Your species is sentient and you have the right to live how you choose.  Rest assured we wont be tyrants.  Well some of the species in this galaxy takes great plasure in harming other sentient life.  But rest assured we protect our own and we wont let anything like that happen to you or anyone else.  Some humanoids can be arrogant and self centered.  But the marines on this base and Starfleet in the space above arent like that I assure you.  We have a prime directive we must follow.  It sets down rules that must not be broken, tho theres been certian circumstances that is has been broken, but one of the rules prevents Starfleet and marines alike to harm innocent and sentient lives.  Unless the sentient life is trying to kill us, then its the starfleet and marines job to protect the weak at all costs.  Understand ?"

Thats interesting, has your race never had any major disputes between themselves? And if so i guess it was resolved peacefully? What kind of crime rate did you have? and what kind of punishments were given out to the worst crimes commited?

"I found as remains of a Star Fleet Marine, he's been here over 100 years" he answers gesturing towards the hole.

"Well, Mr Alf and Mr Coho youve been called here for." as he spoke this there was a communications coming in from the Ops officer on duty.

"Sir, we have an ship coming in hard and fast, it has no readout but we have seen its design of ship before.  It belongs to a Jem'Hadar by the name of Blaze, from what our reports say hes 80-90% cybernetic.  He past threw here a few months ago and helped with the Liberation of the Loxian homeworld and protected Captain Sanchez when he was attempting to rescue the mother of his child.  Looks like his ship is beat up pretty bad, according to what we have scanned hes been in a long and arduous battle.  He just initiated a transport and hes in the city, hes being brought to the medical Facilities here." the ops officer reported.

"Very good, Mr Coho, you are to attend to his injuries the best you can." he ordered Coho.

"Mr ALF we usually arent this busy sense this is a new base.  If you wish to lend your expertise in assisting Mr Coho you may." he told the Melmacian.

Cook looked over at the pile. "ALF will be pleased at seeing that we have recovered so much... but yes, a shame that a few of them are indeed damaged." Cook returned to working at the debri that was near where Higgins was working.
