The Office of Fleet Admiral Karelia

[Will Karelia]

(OFF: Sorry for the late post. Christmas rush at work, so I could only post in the most important areas.)

Will stood from his chair and extended his hand across the desk. "Will Karelia," he said. "The pleasure is all mine."

[Will Karelia]

"True, we wouldn't want you to make a blind jump, likely ending up in blank space. In any case, you're welcome to remain with us as long as you wish. I'll have Security assign you a passport, that'll allow you to travel anywhere in Federation space without incident."

The admiral shifted his attention to the captain standing silently near the door. "Captain, may I speak with you a moment? I believe you'll find what I have to say most... interesting."

[Chaya Sar]

Chaya Sar winced as a sudden and strong vision imaged in her mind. The force usually whispers, this time it was a shout and when that happens, urgency is required.

"Taurik, we must go now, there is a disturbance in the force and it is quite strong." Chaya stated.

[Simon Rajnus]

<Simon was beamed over to the station and went directly to Admiral Karellia's office.  Despite the Captains demeanor, he himself has never seen the Admiral since Simon was usually off on a mission some place.  So he chimed the door and waited a few seconds, then entered>

"Admiral." he said nodding his respects though despite he was a Captain he found saluting all the time a lil tiring.

"We need to talk." he added.

[Taurik]

Taurik stepped into the office, followed by a civilian woman.

"Admiral, I have someone I believe you would be interested in meeting."

[Chaya Sar]

"My name is Chaya Sar, it's nice to meet you." Chaya stated with a smile.

[Chaya Sar]

IC: Chaya looked at Will's hand, slightly confused, this seemed to be some form of greeting, but the nuances alluded her.

But she didn't want to appear rude, so she followed suite, sticking her hand out identically to the Admiral's.

"If it wasn't for Taurik and his crew, the force only knows what would have happened to me, stuck in stasis in my ship, in another galaxy."

[Chaya Sar]

Chaya Sar tried not to sound arrogant, but the truth is the truth. But when you are amongst less advanced species, it is hard to not seem high and mighty. Which is not Chaya's intention.

"My Viper's hyperdrive is capable of getting me back, it's just the navigation computer has no frame of reference to lock onto for the jump. Thank you for your thoughts Admiral...I guess if I really needed to return to my home galaxy, I could at least attempt an extra-galactic jump. I would rather have the vector coordinates though." Chaya stated with a smile.

[Taurik]

Taurik stepped closer to the admiral's desk. "What do you require of me, Admiral?"

[Will Karelia]

"I have news from the Gallifreyan council. They have asked me to dispatch a Starfleet ship, yours specifically, to perform a special task for them. Normally, I would be a little set off by them treating us like their subordinates, but the task seemed beneficial to both parties."

"They want you to infiltrate an enemy space station, and retrieve a certain datacore, one containing the fleet movements for the entire Heraani armada on the front lines. There's one catch... the target is on Hera itself."

[Taurik]

"Very well, sir. With Miss S... Chaya, helping us, I believe we will succeed. It will no doubt be difficult, but attainable, nonetheless."

Taurik changed tones thereafter. "I must have words with the council, however. I do not appreciate them tasking me through second-hand means. If they wish to give me direction, they should do it themselves."

[Taurik]

"Very well. Admiral?"

The admiral immediately responded with a simple nod. Taurik and Chaya left the office and headed for the Rivendell.

[Chaya Sar]

Jedi Master Chaya Sar, remained in silent contemplation most of  the way back to the Rivendell. She wasn't being rude, she was just contemplating the vision, which left her slightly cold.

She eventually stated, "Captain, my apprentice Odona Covell and another Jedi Knight were following me in my freighter, Blue Harvest. They have been captured by these Heraani, at least they were insectoid beings on a space station, so I assume they are these Heraani you were talking about."

As Chaya finished her statement, they crossed the umbilical to the Rivendell and made their way to engineering, where Chaya sensed most of the crew were.

[Will Karelia]

Will looked up from one of his reports. "I see, Captain," he said.

He then looked to the civilian woman, who was dressed in rather loose brown robes. "And to whom do I owe the pleasure, Miss...?"

[Will Karelia]

"Another galaxy? I'm not sure whether to congratulate you on your journey, or to extend my condolences. I'm afraid it's beyond our means to organize a return trip."
