Simon Rajnus

Captain Rajnus - Bridge, USS Normandy

"Crap, change of plans.  Dolan, initiate the Evacuation protocol's.  Get everyone to the escape pods, we are abandoning the ship.  Once you get away head for the planet surface with any luck you and the crew will survive this day.  Hook up with the marines or the Gallifreyan's, thats your best chance.  NOW GO! Thats an order!" Rajnus yelled as he knew the ship was beyond repair and their was only one last desperate choice.

Simon Rajnus

((OOC: Thanks, I combined a lil of the very last season of SG1, where they were frozen in time and Tealc was surrounded in that shield with the ship exploding around him with a touch of that TNG movie where the Enterprise saved Picard from the Collector.))

Captain Rajnus - Bridge, USS Amazon

<Simon rushed the the bridge to see what was going on, ignoring the blood dripping from his forehead, once he reached the bridge a torpedoe slammed into the saucer section of the USS Amazon sending the bridge crew sprawling everywhere including Rajnus.  They got up, heading back to their stations and noticed that the Captain was killed by the explosion from his station>

"Get repair teams and a status report." Rajnus said assuming command.

"Captain decks 3, 4, and 5 have hull breaches, emergency forcefields in place.  Sheilds down to 65%, weapons down to 60% effectiveness." the tactical officer called out.  "Sir, we still have thrusters." the helmsmen called out over the fire and sparks that were flying everywhere.  "Repair teams being dispatched." called the engineering officer.

"Alright, get all personel off those decks and convert one of the cargo bay's into a hospital.  Divert remaining power from those decks to shields and weapons, then divert power from the warpcore into the weapons, shields, and helm." Rajnus ordered.

Raszagal

Major Raszagal - Gallifreyan/Heraan battle site

Raszagal evaded a few bolts of plasma fire, drawing her hand phaser in her left hand, her khala still in the other. She took cover, along with a few other marines, behind the overturned Puma, ducking in and out to take phaser shots at the Heraan. It occurred to her, however, that her shots were futile, as she was pinned down too well, and her shots were so rare that the Heraan she fired at had time to replenish their body shields.

"Stand back," she muttered to the marines taking cover with her. She gathered all of her power, and waited for the Heraan to draw near. Suddenly, the Puma was launched at the approaching hostiles after Raszagal unleashed a powerful psionic blast in that direction. The truck's weight killed the Heraan on contact, shattering their sizable bodies as if they were made of cardboard.

By this time, the remaining armed Pumas were making circles around the Heraan, firing inward on their position, while the transport Pumas had already offloaded their passengers and were parked safely away from the battle. The Gallifreyans saw this as an opportunity to move in on the battle and assist their Federation allies. Raszagal spotted one Templar in particular who was battling with, and struggling against, a rather powerful Heraani elite. She immediately dashed toward them, intercepting a deadly blow with her own khala and enabling the templar to finish the elite off.

With her back pressed against the templar's own, she asked: "Are you injured?"

"No," came the reply, and Raszagal immediately recognized the voice. It was Telkar, one of the other initiates that was trained alongside Raszagal, before any of them were taken on by masters. It was her and Telkar alone that were considered for training by Master Techerakh himself, and that had caused a rivalry between them, both vying to train alongside the Senior Master of the Templar. In the end, as things had occurred, Raszagal came out ahead.

"Telkar?" she asked, spinning to face him. It was her mistake, as a Heraan closed behind them, and Telkar barely managed to knock Raszagal out of the way before the alien crushed her skull. Removing it's target caused the Heraan to lose balance and tumble to the ground. As it started to get up, Telkar threw his khala into the creature's armor, and it fell to the ground, silently screaming in pain as the weapon flew back to it's user's hand.

"We can talk later, Raszagal," came Telkar's annoyed response. "Until then, keep your mind on the battle."

Taurik

Master Taurik - Jungles of Gallifrey

Taurik and the rest of the Gallifreyan strike team were moving swiftly but stealthily through the jungles, the two Federation admirals close behind. The Vulcan feared that they may be heavily fatigued at this point, struggling to keep up with the Gallifreyans' superior speed and physique.

It was only as they exited the jungles that they could make out the skyline of Antioch, and could see the pinpricks that were the allied entrenchments just within the borders of the city. To Taurik's horror, he saw a large Heraani detachment, complete with artillery, between them and Antioch. By the looks of it, the Heraan were preparing to catch the Federation and Gallifreyan forces off-guard, with an attack on their weakened rear flank.

"They won't survive that assault," said Legudon succinctly. Taurik turned his head to look at his master-turned-colleague. "They must," he replied, "or we've no chance of retaking Antioch, and Gallifrey will be lost."

Techerakh lit his twin khalai. "Then it is up to us to carve a bloody swatch in the Heraan's wretched numbers!"

Taurik placed a hand on his friend's shoulder. "Patience, Techerakh. I would like nothing better than to wipe them rom this world with a swing of my blade, but strategy is in order here. Are there many elites among them? Any that could detect our stealth approach?"

"I doubt it," came Legudon's answer. "Only a Field Commander can reliably detect the presence of a stealth operative."

"Then we will sneak upon them, and rid them of their artillery before they have a chance to use it."

The four Gallifreyans resumed their psionic camouflage technique, dashing at full speed until they were within earshot of the Heraan, then reducing their speed to a light-footed walk. They crept up behind the Heraani lines, each targeting one of the heavy artillery tanks the Heraan used to bombard enemy positions. They were able to actually climb aboard the tank, and locate it's pilot. Then, with the force of his mind and will alone, Taurik violently entered the mind of the Heraani pilot, blocking off all telepathic communication, and willingly destroying the mental mechanics of it's mind. The Heraan, he could feel, was trying with all of it's might to scream it's pain outward to it's comrades, but Taurik's attack rendered it telepathically silent and physically immobile. He wreaked havoc upon the alien's mind, until it's head rolled back and it's face actually began to bleed in places from the extreme cranial pressure.

It was an attack that Taurik wished to never perform again, but he would do so again and again if it were required of him. He noticed the same look on his compatriots' faces, after they followed suit. With the four artillery tanks disabled, Taurik nodded to the others, and slid into the controls of the tank. He reversed it's forward motion, much to the surprise of the troops ahead. As soon as they turned to investigate, the four plasma tanks unleashed a deadly barrage into their own lines, decimating over half of the soldiers immediately. Taurik knew they would be easy prey in the confines of the tank's control seat, so he jumped upward and backward, flipping in midair an landing on his feet, fully visible.

While drawing his khala, he projected a short message to the allied forces within Antioch:

"Assist."

Voyager

Lieutenant Dolan - Citadel of Adun

When the Heraan attacked, Dolan leapt backwards and began firing at the Heraan charging at him.  Most of the shots missed, as Dolan didn't have time to compensate for his sudden change in position and shift his focus on his new target.  As he landed, he began to run toward the grand hall backwards, continuing to fire at the Heraan.  Once he passed though the entrance into the main chamber from the grand hall, he looked for several temporary hiding places, as his phaser rifle needed time to recharge.  There were none in sight however, forcing Dolan to continue running.

The Heraan, however, was faster and caught up to Dolan before he could take more than a few steps.  Dolan managed to dodge the Heraan's first swing and used his phaser rifle to deflect the second.  Dolan quickly decided the only thing he could do at the moment was to deflect and dodge the Heraan's attacks until either it tired out or Dolan had a chance to escape.  Since Dolan had not yet seen a Heraan tire out, it seemed as if Dolan's only option was to try to escape as soon as he could.  As he dodged the Heraan's next couple of blows and deflected the next one, he saw his phaser rifle was slowly being torn apart.  He could already see small cuts where the energy blade had made contact with the rifle.

Upon seeing this, when the Heraan made its next swing, Dolan ducked under it and pushed the Heraan up and back with his phaser rifle.  As soon as its weight was off the rifle, Dolan swung it into position and fired it at the Heraan at maximum power repeatedly.  Dolan continued to fire at the Heraan when it landed on its back, deciding not to risk the chance it had survived so many hits with the phaser rifle.

After firing steadily at the Heraan for a good half minute, Dolan stopped.  The body was covered with phaser burns so severely and throughly, if the Heraan wasn't already dead, it would be very soon.  Dolan gave the body a final phaser blast just to be safe before heading back into the main chamber to help the rest of the strike team.
