A mystical artefact

[Peter Svensson]

*Svensson tries to hear what Enoch and Zayan are talking about, but he's standing too far away.*
"Something's wrong, I can feel it. If only I could hear what they were saying."

[Randall Sanchez]

"Celtic Corner... I should have been able to guess it."
*Sanchez sighs and shakes his head.*
"He practically lives in that bar. I remember when I was stationed on Deep Space, there was this Morn guy always sitting at Quark's Bar too. But Enoch might as well open his store right into that bar! Oh well, thank you, Hermes. Tell him I'm waiting for him here, and that I don't have much time."

[Emrodel]

"As a matter of fact, I did not see that boy leave the shop.  You know Enoch, the one that was playing with the crystal earlier.  I wonder where he went off to."

[Hermes]

*It is not the familiar voice of the station's computer, but the friendly and warm voice of Hermes, that responds.*
"Greetings and welcome to the station, captain. I can tell you that Enoch is currently in the establishment called Celtic Corner. Do you wish me to alert him of the fact  that a costumer is waiting at his office? He asked me to let him know any time there is a costumer, so he would not have to keep the store open the entire day."

[Embries]

"I would very much like to find out where the artifact was retrieved, indeed. Maybe more artifacts of my homeworld can be found there. And in return, I can help you with investigating the crystal."

[Enoch]

*Enoch turns off his computer terminal, and glances over at the box again, behind the counter.*
"The gods are smiling upon us, today. Well, I better get going to the Klingon Restaurant, before Kha'Var decides to send her Targh pet to fetch me."
*He opens the door, and leaves his store, making sure it is locked behind him, and heads for the Klingon Restaurant.*

[Enoch]

"Well, I may need your help and intelligence expertise, to identify a particular... artefact. Captain Sanchez of the Evolution has trusted the object in my care for now, and I am to find out what it is and where it comes from. All the inside information I know, I know from you, and your information has never proven to be false. As it is, people are beginning to think I'm a mind reader or some sort of wizard with magical powers. But now, I need your expertise once again, in finding out all information available on this object. Wait, let me transmit some images to you."
*He taps a few buttons to transmit the pictures he had taken just before.*

[Peter Svensson]

"Surely you can stall time, somehow. Tell him that you're well on your way finding information about it, but you need more time. Any excuse will do to get him off your tail. I'm sure you can come up with some good excuse, you've always been a good talker."

[Enoch]

*Enoch walks around the crystal, looking at it from all different angles.*
"Hmmm... not at this moment. I'll have to analyze this object, and see if I can find anything consistent, or at least somehow similar, in my archeological and artefact databases. It may take me a few days, or weeks, depending on how fast I can find something. I may have to request file transfers from Earth to research additional information, and you know how long it takes for transmissions from the Alpha Quadrant to reach us, with that Expansion Nebula blocking communication signals."

[Enoch]

"I... I... got that from... nowhere. And it isn't for sale! So if you would all please clear this area, so I can close for lunch break and get myself a Guinness!"

[Hermes]

"I also detect a strong residue of the Z.D.Y particle, of which very little is known in the scientific databases."

[Randall Sanchez]

*Sanchez sighs deeply.*
"Thank you. Let's hope he didn't just order a new pint of Kilkenny, or I'll be having grey hair and be retired by the time he makes his arrival."

[Emrodel]

*Emrodel looks at Embries to see if he suspects anything about her.  Just as the woman named as general Zayan is answering the question of the hour, another person enters.*

[Enoch]

"Designed? You mean... this crystal is not a natural occurance, but actually man-made?"

[Peter Svensson]

*Svensson looks up when he hears the name Zentox.*
"General Zentox... He was an important man among the Loxian rebels, was he not? I have carefully studied the log files of the U.S.S. Skytoucher upong their meeting with that man. I have also heard of his death... my condolences, general Zayan. But maybe his knowledge may not have died with him, about the crystal stone. Is there any way to retrieve the information regarding where he obtained the artifact from? He may have kept personal log files of some sort, in where he mentioned the crystal."
