Mission 6: Revenge of the Na'jigat

"Yes, that would be prudent."

Taurik walks back to the bridge and presses a button on the arm of his chair.

"Evolution, this is Rivendell. We are ready to proceed at your discretion."

[Kassie]

*kassie gets up out of her bed after getting a nights sleep after the little ordeal with the ship then puts on a fresh new uniform and heads for sickbay to get the rest of her checked out........*

Well Doctor........I think I didnt expect a ship to turn on us...........I do hope the commander understands..........*massages her hands*........So could you when you have time clear me so I can get back to duty......I sure hope Commander and the captain dont think less of me for the way I acted in that control room I couldnt stop myself!

[Will Karelia]

A distress call comes onto the speaker.

"This is Admiral Karelia of the Federation outpost Deep Space Twelve. There is a Borg cube a mere 17 hours from our position. We require the assistance of any starships in range. I repeat, this is Deep Space Twelve, requesting immediate assistance from all nearby starships."

[Event Horizon]

"Energy! More energy!"
*But the Na'jigat is halted in their quest, when a beam of unusual power holds them back... This is not the energy they can consume, this is the mental energy that can push them back... The energy they had always known to come from their opponents... the Gallifreyans.*
"Gallifreyans! Gallifreyans! But I sense no Gallifreyan... there are none... There must be Gallifreyans... Where does mental energy come from... Sense powers almost as strong as Gallifreyans... But they are not Gallifreyans... Must retreat! Must retreat! Must retreat!"
*The Na'jigat cloud retreats instantly from the battlefield, before any more of the opposing energy can weaken it further. The Na'jigat is still strong enough, but chooses to withdraw and consider a new strategy... They return to the Quantum Singularity Network, and disappear in it... for now...*

[Baphomet]

Baphomet, slightly bemused of the last image of memory, was pleased that Freeman regained consciousness.

~Good to see that you have regained consciousness Commander. But I am concerned about your last memory, I dare say you will elaborate when you are ready.~

[Will Matthews]

While he was taken to sickbay he heard Freemans message and let out a sigh of relief. The next thing his mind went to was how long his risky method would land him on a medical cot.

Yes. Captain. Tractor beam is now locked on the Kahless. We are ready for transport at any time. I am locking ship coordinates to remain on warp 2 for the duration until you give further commands. The two ships are locked and ready to go. Captain. At your command. I am stabilizing the beam right now. It should be ready now.

[Taurik]

Taurik raises his eyebrow. "I have never understood the human need for titles. However, I have no reason to deny your request."

Taurik goes to his ready room for a moment, and returns with a small golden pin in a box. He hands the box to Matthews. "I hope you don't mind if we forego the ceremonials in my office, Ensign?"

[Kassie]

*still in engineering Kassie goes and assist the remaining engineers in repairing the ship..........*

Ah Mr Matthews, Actually Mr Matthew I think your recovery is going very well. I was about to contact the Captain but why don't you do it when You return to duty with the next shift.

Matthews smiles at the reply. "More of a cadets goal, Thank you, Captain". He attatched the rank insignia and put his cadet markings into the box. "I will take place at Tactical Sir"
