Mission 6: Revenge of the Na'jigat

He looks at the new officer.

"Welcome to the Rivendell Mr. Matthews, I'm Commander Travis, First Officer. It seems you may face your first challenge soon. Lt. Baklavar, Ensign Matthews, i think you should prepare for battle. Make sure all weapons are in check and post security teams. Work with the phasers to get some shots at the borg if they board." Travis nods at the men to begin working.

Thank you Ensign, I appreciate it. That should be enough. Maintaining target on the coordinates. Let's HOPE this is enough. Commander...............I believe you need to see this. The Evolution is about to do something on viewscreen.............Sensors are indication a strong energy coming from their phaser array on their ship. They look like they are about to fire.....................................The readings are indicating a rise in power in their tactical systems. An effect similar to the Captains.....................That's strange.

(On the viewscreen, The Evolution is shown heading toward the N'ygat. A strange looking beam begins to enamate from the phaser banks of the Evolution with a strange whitish blue glow.................................)

OOC:  I am to and now you get a little background on Freemans life.

On:  ~Baphomet, I know it must be hard for you and I am sorry you got stuck with me.  Do not be ashamed of what you did.  You saved all of us.  Perhaps when we get you back where you belong we can...

The beach starts to change all of the sudden and baphomet is sitting in a conference room of a starfleet facilty.   Freeman is no where around and neither is anyone else.~


In sickbay Freeman's nurilogial activiaties start to plumit.


~ After looking around the room Baphomet discoveres that she is in a Starfleet Corps of Engineers construction base.  On the viewscreen their is a scematic for a craft labeled: Scorpian Mark 1 Anti Borg Assault Fighter.  

After studing the schematic for a minute 12 engineers enter the room and all sit down.  Freeman arrives in the room a moment later and stands in front of the room.  They begin to talk about the Scorpian and what it will take to get the craft operational.  The only interesting part for Baphomet is a piece of technology called "ABTA," armour to counteract the borg.  

As they where talking a Red alert Coxin went off.

We have received a message from Starfleet Command.  The task force in the typhon sector is unsuccessful and are retreating to bata position.   They say at all cost do not launch the Scorpian.

Did I hear docking Avalon station and a PARTY, Celtic Corner, Drinks!!!! LOTS AND LOTS OF DRINKS!!!!!! Oh my head is hurting. I need a drink badly!!! I am very sorry Commander, but a ferengi needs his drink and I have had not one for a LONG time. Requesting shore leave. Sorry for my rude interuption. I am also working out the bugs down here and will leave instructions for the engineers to work on down here. Thank you ensign for taking over. I will have a drink with ya if I get shore leave at the Celtic Corner. I also need to re-stock my little restaurant..........Darn, Disreagard that one, I forgot to shut my comm off. Blast. Sorry again...........tsk...tsk=A=Solark out.
(He returns to make further repairs and grumbles.............................)

Matthews was dazed and felt blisters on his neck and face. The burst of flame was so fleeting that it did not do the damage he had thought as he ran his hand over his face, flinching as he hit some of the bad burns.
"Captain! Did it work, sir?" He called out in the loudest voice he could gather as the medics rushed around him.

"Very well. Proceed at best possible speed."

"Aye Sir". He continued to examine power readings.
"I have taken all torpedo launchers offline, and transferred thier total power to aid the Captain..If the sheilds will be uneffective, Sir, I can take thier power and divert it as needed, that would be a good deal of power".

[Morgan Freeman]

After a while with the engineers talking about the borg and the assault fighter another call came in.

We are receiving a destress can from the science ship batris.  I am patching it through sir.

(This is the U.S.S. Batris to any vessel in range, we are under attack by a borg sphere.  Our shields are failing and we have Re..sre..  T..a..t ......)

The comm goes dead.  
One of the engineers said "Sir, isn't your wife on that ship?"

=A= Maxwell, do we have a pinpoint there location?  Yes sir said maxwell =A=

Freeman dismisses the rest of the engineers and sits in the room alone for a while.  Looking through Baphomet like she is not there.

=A= Computer, Activate program Freeman 181  Lockout all other access accounts and prepare the scorpian for launch. =A=

Freeman then proceeds to launch the Scorpian to go rescue the Batris.  

The scene shifts forward a few hours to an infirmary where Freeman is lying on a biobed.  Baphomet listen to the doctors discussing what they are going to do and she watches as they implant a chip into Freemans brain to control Nurilogical activity.

[Will Matthews]

"Commander, we are receiving a distress call from Starbase Twelve. They only have a day left sir, and are requesting assistance for evacuation".

~Commander, tell Mr. O'Neil to leave us for a few minutes... through you I am going to teach Kassie a simple Vulcan meditation technique for controlling emotions:
Tell her to sit cross legged with eyes closed on the Biobed and with a straight back tell her to breathe in and out slowly, three times.
Once complete, tell her to breathe normally concentrating on her breathing, allowing thoughts to come as they will, while still concentrating on her breathing.
Kassie must do this for at least thirty minutes, twice daily, as she does so she will notice that she can apply this technique all the time, no matter what.~

(Vurak approached the bridge in full Galifreyan regalia. He approaches the bridge and reports directly to Captain Sanchez and the rest of the bridge.)

"Captain. I am here. I am WELL AWARE of the situation and Captain Taurik's actions. I will assist as I am destined too. I have NO love for the N'ygat as for the N'ygat is CONSTANTLY taunting me. Logically speaking, I must make sure to assist in ALLEVIATING the problem at hand. My course of action would be logically to combine my power with Mr. Taurik's beam to attempt counteract the N'ygat threat. I will proceed to tactical and begin the process. Captain. I need a conduit my own energy to be released and combined with Captain Taurik's psionic beam. I may need some assistance since I am technically going to be placed under a meditative state......................................I am requesting assitance from the crew at hand to provide me that conduit. Please assist everyone. I am going in. I will still be able to hear you so please direct to my location and I will pinpoint it................ Aim your most power phaser beams and I will direct my strength there. You know which one. Direct as much power as possible to your phasers and concentrate one beam into Mr. taurik's beam.
