He quickly re-engaged power to the weapons systems and prepared.
"Torpedos ready for fire captain. Ship separation on standby as well sir, in case we need that option later".

IC: "Commander, we have yet to hear from the Skytoucher or the Tiberon, if they have yet installed the Shift-Drives I have sent them."

Baphomet then showed them on the main veiwer the size and incept ratio of the Na'Jigat.

"The Rivendell alone will not have the capacity to create a null void big enough to effect the Na'jigat, therefore I will have to use my Shuttle to cause any kind of effect to the energy clouds progress."

"Commander, its good to see you.  Lets run a scan of the surrounding area to see what the situation on the station and the surrounding space is like.  Lt. Matthews, what is the comm traffic looking like?"

[Baphomet]

"Platitude is not necessary Ensign, I was simply implimenting an effective countermeasure."

She continues

"As for this device you mentioned...Hmm...anything hand held that can bring down an Electro-magnetic Forcefield of 50 gigawatts, must of produced an Electro-Magnetic Pulse, of modulating Harmonics."

"That is assuming, of course, that it was not a Psionic Amplifier.
There is not much I can do about the latter, but the former should be relatively simple."

Baphomet turned to Commander Freeman.

"Commander, I have an idea to sure up our Security forcefields, but it would require an engineering team to incorporate a Photon Projector into the Forcefield generators."

"Helm lay in a course for the skytoucher get us there asap.
Mr. Matthews, as soon as we get within transporter range, beam the survivors directly to sickbay."

Yes Captain moving to the commander with Captain Taurik before doing so I turn to the Captain and state sir if you have any trouble with your new arm that I can help with feel free to come and see me sir.

Then giving Commander Rasmain the wake up and beta blocker to help with his head ache. he quickly came around for the Captain to speak to.

Matthews listened to the transmission at his station, not quite understanding.
"..should I prepare for some sort of rescue mission, Captain?"

[Baphomet]

At the Science Station, Baphomet had been viewing the sensor logs for the night, a habit she always did no matter what.
This ritualistic behavior was the catalyst that allowed a young 69 year old Vulcan to discover what, she later called, the Shift Effect.
A transphasic Subspace signiture that occured when an Interdimensional Portal was either opening, open, or had been just closed.
Strangly enough, the Shift effect signiture was what she was looking at right now.
Baphomet new of only one other species that uses Interdimensional technology, the Gallifreyans.
As she was pondering this enigma, her console signaled a private message and display Morgan's communication to her.
She touched the [Reply] key option on the LCARS display and  sent the following message in return:

**PVT TXT MSGE FROM MAIN SCIENCE STATION TO MAIN ENGINEERING STATION**

After sending the message to Morgan, Baphomet went back to the conundrum of the Interdimensional signiture.
Of which according to the sensor logs, occured at 0235 hours  this morning and was approximately 500 000 meters off the port bow.

Seeing the almost puzzled look on Baphomet's face Morgan couldn't help but chuckle just a little bit.

"Baphomet, will you join me in your shuttle we are going back to Frontier under cloak and we will help the station how we can.

Mr Matthews, you are in command of the Rivendell until we get back.  Do not let anything happen to the ship.  Keep an eye on Frontier, if we need you to we will have to send you in to disable the weapons systems on the station.    Go to yellow alert until further notice.  Understood?"

[Taurik]

"You may proceed, Commander. However, please warn all ships that the Shift-Drive is experimental, and that they should not use it unless absolutely necessary.

[Taurik]

"No, my place is here. Lieutenant Matthews, reactivate weapons and standby."

[Morgan Freeman]

"Thank you doctor,  I want you to use whatever sensor equipment you need to gather information about the Na'jigat.

Commander Baphomet, thank you. "
