Mission 8: The Battle of Avalon

Travis came to the Captain.

"Medical officer Mark Travis reporting for duty sir"

No Commander I beleieve you should be fine. The rest of your crewmen left the medical suite Yesterday or the day before. I would just like to run one last scan before you go to check that you are as good as you can be.

Five minutes later Commander Rasmain and Commander ONeil leave sickbay.

Well Commander Are you to stay on theis ship or are you back to Avalon. Becasue I am on my way over there to get some replacement supplies of medical equpiment before we depart and then some time over at the bar I suppose.

[Taurik]

"Welcome to the Rivendell, lieutenant."

Taurik feels the ship rock as it docks with Starbase Avalon.

[Morgan Freeman]

"Well thats a good thing, I think, that and the wonderful fact that we are not inside of a bulkhead.  
We may be able to get one good transport out of the shuttle before it activates a inhibitor so, I am going to run a scan of the locations for the command staff we need answers."

Morgan goes to the science station and starts to run a low intensity scan of the station getting the following results.

Morgan turns to Baphomet

"It looks like they are trying to fix a computer problem.   I will beam to the Computer core to help Admiral Garhart and you beam to operations and let them know that we are here and see what help you can be there.  Let me modify the comm badges so the route through the shuttle that way we will be able to communicate independantly of the stations systems."

Freeman pulls out his portible engineering kit and modifys both his and Baphomet's comm badges in a few moments.

"Alright, I have deactivated the subroutine that would route us through the stations sytems and amped up the power to both units.  Basically we won't be able to communicate with anyone but each other.  
Lets go.  Take a compression Phaser Rifle just for security and lets get going."  

Packing a bigger engineering kit Morgan Kisses Baphomet before stepping onto the transporter platform then awaits transport.

Origin of vessel indeterminable."

Well Commander working as I do with bugs and other paracites in the body and occassionally outisde the body to find out what will kill them or at least make them retreat to the point of not killing something. I need to find something that will make them do that. In the twentith Century sir Doctors discovered something that did that. It was Penicillin but unfortunately sir they over used it on many bugs. Those bugs mutated to be immune to Penicillin, so I suppose my best information is find something that makes the cloud that we fight with increasing regulatiry now is find a few things that make it retreat and use them on a short term rotating basis.

also I will be on the Rivendale to offer my asstance you are still in Commmand unil Captian Turuk returns but after this battle will be the six week jonour to Fontier Station

Helm Set a course for Frontier station maximum warp.

Helm: Aye sir course laid in

Freeman: Engage"

**The Rivendell swings around and jumps into warp. **

"All stations, status report"

=/\= Sickbay to Bridge the survivors of the skytoucher have arrived sir. I have one member  most persistant in his request to see the Captain. I would suggest you do it down here Captain as he is not in the best shape of his lucky life sir. The survivors from the escape pods sir are Aok some didn't make it but I think through their injuries that they would have had a difficult time to begin with. =/\=

OOC: Commander Rasmain this is your chance to scream and show and demand to see the Captain.

"I have no idea doctor, I think I will be reassigned but as I haven't been debriefed by Admiral Montrell I'm still clueless. By the way, I want to thank you for the care you gave myself and my crew. I will not forget to mention your actions in my report."

*They turned around the corner and stepped into the open turbolift*

"If they go back through another shift even can we track where they go?  At the moment they don't seem to be doing anything mischevious."

[Baphomet]

Baphomet nods approval at the assignment as well as the kiss and holds up her hand in the Vulcan hand-sign.

"Live long and Prosper."

Baphomet engages the transport sequence, as Morgan finishes dematerializing from the Shuttle, Baphomet realigned the Transporter beam for Operations.

After grabing a Compression rifle from the weapons locker she stepped onto the Transporter pad.

"Computer, maintain a transporter lock on Commander Freeman and I at all times, [ACKNOWLEDGED] energise."

Baphomet rematerializes in Operations, spots Admiral Hobson and walks over to him and explains the situation.

[Baphomet]

"Aye, Sir."

Baphomet scanned the vessels and how they managed to dodge being drained of all energy...

"It appears sir, that when they exited Hyperspace, the Gallifreyan vessels were slightly out of phase until they were clear of the Hyperspace Window."

Baphomet continued.
"How they were able to do this and still exit Hyperspace is a mystery, sir."

Baphomet then did some calculations with her station
"As for the Shift-Drive, a 10 second burst of antigravitic particals will only give us about a 10 minute void."
