Mission 11: "Impromptu Heroism"

OOC: The following, has been slightly altered from the origin specs for the White Stars of Babylon 5.  I am using the White Star Battle Cruiser simply because it is the ship image used in the databank.

(OFF: Okay, I had no idea we were sitting above Heraan itself. Let's assume this is just a border colony, because Heraan itself fits into the EF plot waaaaay down the road.)

"May I remind you, Commander, that the Heraan have no civilians," Taurik said a little too emotionally, desperate to justify what he had just ordered. "Every being on that planet is dedicated to our destruction, and is to be considered hostile."

"Matching course to bearing 234 mark 25. Captain, if it is a Nebula or an anomaly, should I bring us out of warp just before it?
Sir <turning to LtCmdr T'lana> would you be able to give me an approximate size of the...um distortions, so that I know how far out I will need to bring us out of warp?

"Acknowledged Captain."
T'lana activated the LCARS cataloging system, to record all the telemetry on temporal anomaly and it's location.
"The anomaly is also dissipating Captain, by my calculations the rift should be completely sealed in 63.5672 seconds."

(OFF: ...I thought you already were aboard. If not, feel free to do so.)

[HK47]

"It would be much easier to disrupt your field if you get arrogant hologram." he said as he beamed himself up the rest of the way in 1 micro second.  He goes over and disrupt the device with an EMP surge and removed it from the warpcore.

<HK takes the device and dismantles it and uses it to fix his body>

"Yessir, proceeding at maximum impulse towards unknown vessel."

<After looking at the readings from the Navigational sensors:>

"Sir, the Evolution is heading towards that nebula, presumably to try and mask their signal from that Heraani cruiser."

"Sir, perhaps Cadet Beta could go on the away team? He seemed to perform well against our intruders earlier."

"Understood."

<Beta's team came close to the edge of the overhang.>

"OK, we have just less than two and a half hundred meters from the end of this treeline to the over hang. We don't know what's out there, for all we know, there could be a stealthed ambush. I will go out with Antares and Krasen. The rest of you, cover both us and your own backs from within the tree cover.

"You two, follow me."

<Beta and the two officers he chose crept in a slow crouch from the tree cover.  Antares had one hand holding a Type II phaser (the Type IV slung over his shoulder) and in the other, a tricorder sweeping the area for anything unusual.>

<As they got closer to the overhang, Beta told Antares to keep watch while he and Krasen crept forwards on their stomachs to see below.>

Krasen*Low whistle* "That's one big fortress."

Beta "That's what it's meant to be." <Beta shook his head. They were talking in low tones unlikely to carry far, but he wanted to be safe.> "Keep unnecessary chatter out of it. We don't want an ambush."

<As Beta looked out over the landscape below, he tried to locate the Evolution crew.>

"captain the enemy vessel out of phasor range appears to be launching what looks like fighters sir i have 8 targets coming in the are using muti phased shields and are armed with disruptors"

As the Doctor's image  disappeared from the Main Viewer, the TARDIS jumped to Slipspace.

Morgan begins to feel his head get fuzzy, "This is vulcan brandy, isn't it?" He asks as he is trying to clear his head.

"By the way, you should give yourself more credit and believe me when I say your beautiful." he says after kissing her.

Morgan moved to the reactor, his weapon had jammed again when he needed it.  severely frustrated with himself he walked up to the reactor's massive control console.  Plugging in a mobile power pack to the console it powered up and gave him a diagnostic rather quickly.

"Curious," Morgan said to no one in particular and began to think about what would require only .001% of power to remain operational on the station.    Getting a sneaky suspicion what they where dealing with, Morgan ran a few more test and turned to the other two officers in the room.

"It's an adaptive Virus.  Reactor 3 has a small amount of power running from it.  Its enough to power the backup computer system. Whats worse, I think someone is still inputting commands into the virus program."  Morgan spoke very calm as he shared the news.

[T'lana]

Arriving on the Rivendell, T'lana went straight to her quarters, showered, applied make-up and dressed in an evening gown made of the finest Rigelian silk and tights to compliment the gown.

Setting the table with two everlast candles, cutlery etcetera and went to the Replicator and ordered a three course meal, consisting of Plomeek Soup for T'lana and Pumpkin Soup for Morgan. Followed by the main meal of beef stroginoff for Morgan and a Vulcan dish for herself. Dessert was more difficult,  as Vulcans don't usually eat dessert, but T'lana was rather partial to chocolate, even if it did make her intoxicated. So she ordered a Chocolate Sundae for the both of them, placing Vulcan Brandy on the table as an after  dinner salute.
