T'lana was watching Morgan work on the Hatch in an EVA suite.

Cadet Beta's holomatrix began to flicker again and for some reason his cognitive and motor functions froze.
T'lana set up a repair algorithm and took over at tactical until the repairs were complete.

"Targeting the planet Captain, firing."

She paused over the fire controls for the Quantum Discharge Beam Canon for a moment, knowing full well that a lot of meditation was going to be needed before she could remove this from her conscience.

T'lana finally pressed the controls...

It took only one minute of constant firing for the Quantum Discharge Beam Canon to destroy the target planet.

Telemetry sensors noted that as soon as the beam hit the planet, all surface lifeforms were atomized, then the surface of the planet, it's mantle and then it's core.

There was no explosion, no cries for help, no means to tell if lifeforms were fighting back at all.

All that floated in space now, was a pathetic collection of atoms that was once the base of the planet, it's flora and fauna and it's sentients that once colonized this planet and called it home.

Stating the obvious, T'lana reported the status of the planet planet with notable sadness in her voice.

"Target destroyed Captain."

T'lana went to the navigation console, just as the recursive algorithm T'lana applied to Beta's holomatrix had completed the necessary repairs.

"I have set navigation systems for Avalon Captain, we may jump at anytime."


OOC: To be honest I really don't care for the Quantum Slipstream Drive, I am using real science again and saying it is a Hyperdrive - Wormhole Induction Propulsion. Or technically: Manipulation of gravity to fold spacetime, resulting in a hyper-dimensional manifold, or better known as a spacetime vortex.

And the timeline we are in is way after Voyager got home, so the mobile emitter would have been heavily studied

"captain may i suggest we deploy a senser probe in the area of the evolutions distress call we can set it to passive scan and it could send us a subspace report when it detects something its not as fasty as the regular communication protocol but in case thier are hostiles it woiuld be harder to detect "

Morgan and Sarpedon activated the engine of the Kelata and left the bay of the Rivendell.  After a few moments maneuvering into place, Morgan turned the controls over to Sarpedon "Don't pull away until I signal you that I am no longer in the airlock." he said on the way out of the bridge.

Arriving at the airlock a moment later, Morgan goes to work on the door.  Since power was out throughout all the station he would have to manually open the airlock door.  This would be done easily had he been inside the station but outside he would have to cross wire a number of different door mechanisms in order to get it to open.

Its going to take me a few minutes to get this door open.  Whats the status of the station?

OOC: Well I am sorry, but since college started on Monday, I've been very pressed for time. I was planning on the station being a bit more difficult to deal with than that, however, and maybe it even escaping.

OOC: what time line are we in? can i just whip up a mobile emitter?

"Hmmmmm, it could work.  But to increase the chances of it not being detected we could potentially install a masking field code to prevent enemy sensors from picking it up.  If the Evolution is out there they could pick it up on there sensors."

"Once we receive permission to leave the Rivendell Mr. Beta, the planet in question is approximately 3.26 lightyears from this position, the journey in Quantum Slipstream will take one minute."



OOC: Don't worry Beta, the Kelata is the size and approx. layout of a Federation run-a-bout, of Vulcan design of course so the command consoles are laid out in a semi-circle from the forward windshield. Helm/Ops at the meridian, Tactical at the starboard apex and Communications at the port apex.

T'lana stared  out at the starfield as the Slipfighter flew towards Avalon Station at half lightspeed.

@@"I intend to destroy the space-doors, it is the only logical choice seeing as they have no power. Follow me through and dock the Kelata with the USS Rivendell, I shall do the same with the Slipfighter. Once on board the Rivendell, we shall use the Kelata's transporters and beam aboard the station in the Celtic Corner. Weapons and tricorders will be required.@@

The Slipfighter at 50psl reached Avalon station in 2 minutes from the slippoint, T'lana throttled back the MPDD and brought the Slipfighter to an all stop in front of the station's space-doors.

Firing the AP Canons and Plasma Missiles, the space-doors were pulverized.

T'lana piloted the Slipfighter into shuttle bay one of the USS Rivendell and shut down the propulsion systems.

The hatch to the Slipfighter opened automatically as T'lana grabbed a forcelance from it's clasp in the Slipfighter as well as a comlink.

T'lana placed the forcelance between her breasts and the comlink in to her pocket, just in case there was trouble on the station, she did not want to be caught disarmed. Intending to use traditional Starfleet equipment, leaving the Vedran equipment as back up.
