Givrillian Sarpedon

"Not at all Sir, ah I mean Ma'am. Just glad to see you're OK."

=^=Kelata to Taurik=^=

"She's awake, Sir. A bit of a bloody nose, but otherwise seems to be fine."

=^=Kelata out=^=

Sarpedon then returned to the controls of the ship, mumbling something along the lines that he should keep a look out to see if there were any more enemies lurking about.

((Sorry my posts haven't been that often or full of much content lately - been very busy, but I'm finishing work on Friday and then all I have to do is paint some random part of a house, so I should have plenty of time.

Also, is anyone going to find a way to reactivate Beta? He was deactivated and trapped in the station's computer core when power went down.))

T'lana

T'lana inputed the Captain Taurik's jump-vector into the navigation console, she new Mr. sarpedon was a competent pilot and would easily be able to compensate for the spatial variances.

Activating the Quantum Slipstream Drive, the Radiant Thunder shook slightly as the spacetime continuum was  manipulated at the quantum level.
A gravitmetric distortion rippled through the ship, which was the final stage in going to slipstream velocity. The Radiant Thunder crossed the threshold and jumped into the blue-shifted vortex of Quantum Slipstream.

"Captain, we are now at slipstream velocity."

T'lana found an interesting system and activated it, a holographic display was generated in front of the windshields aft of the pilot-pods.
The Hologram extended from the ceiling and almost to the command deck floor. The hologram showed a representation of the Radiant Thunder's flight in comparison to it's relative position in true-space.

Although fascinating it served to be a distraction only, so T'lana deactivated the holographic overlay system.

"We will arrive at the coordinates of the distress signal in 10 minutes, Captain. As far as I can tell the power drain Ensign Torbin mentioned is not affecting the engines or navigational sensors."

T'lana

OOC: I love my Warp-Calculator, really comes in handy.

IC: Knowing her Captain quite well and being a Vulcan, T'lana new that the slow speed of a Star Fleet vessel would be frustrating Taurik.

"Captain, although it would take too long to reconfigure the USS Rivendell to use Slipspace, the Kelata already has a Slipspace Engine, I could scout ahead."

HK47

<Down in astrometrics HK was working at his station noticing the rogue missile, he quietly contemplated Tragare messing up once again and computed that Tragare was purposefully trying to destroy the ship>

<HK bypassed the last remaining rogue torpedoes programming, then initiated an override sequence to shut down the torpedoe>

Alexia

"Ensign, track there signal where are they?" she asked has the attack on the fortress commenced.

*The Starfleet officers combined with the Gallifreyans and marines were having a hard time of it assaulting the Fortress.  Neither gaining a foothold as the Starfleet personel dived for cover and began to fire at Heraani soldiers*

Ensign: "Maam, the signal is authentic.  I am detecting several heraani near there position."

"Alright, Ill take a squad and intercept them.  I need a squad of gallifreyans and 4 marine snipers as support.  Lets move out!" she ordered as her men fell in to follow behind her as she moved out quite quickly knowing time was needed.

<About 30 minutes later Alexia looked over a small hill and saw the Starfleet officers hidden amongst the rocks and trees>

<Alexia motioned for the snipers in pairs of 2 to take up positions, one pair to the north covered by several large boulders.  While the other 2 snipers took up positions to the west up into some trees for a good visual of the area as spotters incase the Heraani had some kind of back up>

<Alexia and her Gallifreyan knights stayed behind the hill as Alexia contacted the stranded rescue party>

<Tapped her combadge to contact HOB>

=^= "This is Apprentice Alexia.  Do you need assistence?" =^=

Givrillian Sarpedon

OOC: Much better :P

"Understood." Sarpedon entered in the coordinates of the spacial rift, and the ship slipped out of its orbit. He looked back up at the viewscreen. I've never seen anything like that before...its a perfect circle too, can any natural phenomenon be that precise?

T'lana

"Sounds logical."

T'lana moved out the way she had come towards the Slipfighter and manually closed the bulkhead door.
Cycling the airlock system which was still powered, T'lana climbed in to the cockpit and closed the canopy just as the  cycle completed and the out doors opened.

Powering up the MPDD and GFG, T'lana turned the throttle and the Slipfighter launched out of the tube.

"Computer, initiate a sensor sweep, power signatures only."

Computer: Acknowledged.

T'lana piloted the Slipfighter  around the station in a deck by deck grid pattern as the sensors read of one by one the power signatures it detected.

========================

After the scan was complete, which only a moment, T'lana sent the information to Morgan's tricorder.

=A=T'lana to Morgan=A=

"I have sent the data to your tricorder Morgan."

=A=T'lana Out=A=

T'lana switch the sensors back active full spectrum mode and as soon as she did that  the computer reported  a sensor anomaly.

Computer: Higher concentration of anti-protons, tachyons and neutrinos detected, suggest cloaked vessel

With this new information, T'lana decided to keep traveling around the space around the station.

=A=T'lana to Morgan=A=

"Sensors may have detected a cloak vessel, it is not determinable, but I will remain in space just in case."

T'lana

Standing, but not having much luck, T'lana managed to get to the Helm Station, she sat down more with a flop than her usual grace.

"Computer, find the ejected cockpit pit and set a course."

Computer: Acknowledged...target found 1 light-minute from the "Kelata". Setting course and engaging engines.

The Kelata took off after the remaining section of the Slipfighter, after nearly thirty minutes had passed the still spinning section was finally in sight.

"Computer, arm weapons, lock on to the Slipfighter and fire."

Computer: Weapons active, locking on target, firing. Target destroyed.

As the Kelata finished off the remaining section of the Slipfighter that exploded in a plume of orange light, T'lana set course back for the station.

Thirty minutes later the Kelata returned to Avalon Station, with which T'lana put it in to a parking pattern 500 meters away from the maintenance hatch.

=A=Kelata to Morgan Freeman=A=

"Morgan, how are the repairs going, we are quite vulnerable still and the Kelata is no match for Heraani Cruisers"

Taurik

Taurik sat in his command chair, gazing at the oddly-shaped viewscreen, on the alien bridge, giving orders to a skeleton crew made up of both Starfleet and Gallifreyan officers. The impact of his situation, his very being, finally hit him. It seemed like only days ago, he was a young Ensign on the U.S.S. Enterprise, having lunch with his companions Sam Lavelle and Sito Jaxa in Ten Forward, watching them worry over who would get the Ops promotion from Commander Riker. Now, here he was, a Starfleet captain, as well as a member of an alien council, fighting a war not only for the sake of the Federation, but for every being in the galaxy. He didn't even feel Vulcan anymore.
Techerakh entered the bridge and shook him out of his reverie by placing a hand on his shoulder. "Yes, you've come a long way," came the four-hundred-year-old warrior's voice in his mind. "But your crew follows you with distinction. Even now, they expect leadership, need an example to follow. As did you once."
Taurik found it difficult to restrain his pride. His master's opinion of him was one of the most important in his eyes. Maintaining his control, he stood. "Helm, set course, coordinates two-one-five by zero-seven-eight. Engage slipstream drive, cruising speed."

Holographic Officer Beta

"I apologise, Commander. I believe some of my behavioural subroutines may be corrupted. I can still perform my duties however, if you ignore any profane language I may add to them." he told T'lana, in his normal tones.

"Yes, Captain." he said, firing at the remaining ships and making quick work of them.

"Scanning. There are a total of seven more vessels in the system, Captain of varying size, as well as two more defence stations. There is a total of 7 planets and one Sun in the system. We are at the 3rd planet from the Sun." he reported.

HK47

"A simple 'Hello' could either be sped or slowed down in this temporal flux.  The message could take days or even years to get to them.  In which time we would be too late to prevent there demise.  But I should remind you that temporal fields are erratic so we cant even fathom what this message would do.  For all we know it would alert the enemy ships to both our location and theres which in turn would lower there survivability chances."

"Yes, Dean Starwind.  You have been recognized as Rivendell XO, encrypting my files with your security codes." he said before returning to his duties.

"You now have access to my files within reason.  Be reminded that any attempts to access restricted files will be dealt with to the fullest of my protocols to protect the information inside of me." he said in his computerized voice.

OOC**Dismantling, Hmmmmm, then ill just bring back another Droid http://www.expansionfleet.com/ikonboard/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>, I love droids.  There sooooooo cool to play.

Bran Tragare

<tragare qalks over to lt.kassie's station>
"sorry mam for giving you an oder but the situation being as it was, my first priority was the ship her crew and any treats t those priorities no disrespect to your rank was ment mam"

<tragare walks over to Engineer torbin>

"sir would there be away to posibly use the rivendells shields to herd the intruders into like an empty cargo bay,you could rig the shields to form infront of them then slowly advance towards them thus herding them towards a empty cargo bay once they are there we ask for thier surrender if they dont surrender we space them,i know thats not federation policy but its the easiest way to handle them with less risk to the crew and any passengers we have afterwards we can have beta and HK47 do a priority 1 search of the ship for any stragglers "
Ship: U.S.S Rivendell
Name: Bran Tragare
Rank: Ensign
Position: Tactical

Taurik

(OFF: Stop it, everyone. HK, keep the numbers realistic. You never see twenty enemies in a hallway, you see two or three. Besides, how would so many Heraan get aboard? They don't have cloaks on their vessels, so we'd have to see them. Tragare, don't be so sarcastic.)

Taurik stood, motioning to the pilot on duty. "Helm, continue on at warp six to the Evolution's distress coordinates."

The captain began to get worried, knowing there were spies aboard. He sensed the presence of no Heraani ships in the near vicinity, adding fuel to the mystery of how they got aboard, especially without him knowing it.
