Mission 9: The Evolution's Flight

"Commander, retrieval of the crew in the escape pods is complete. The injured will be standing by in sickbay for the doctor, the fit are taking positions to assist on board".

Baphomet read the text message sent to her by Morgan and sent a text message back to him......

**Indeed, but it is more logical to wait to see what transpires, despite Captain Taurik's friendship with Captain Sanchez, he is still a Vulcan.**

Baphomet then proceeded to look up the prefix codes for the USS Evolution, to her fascination the prefix codes had been deleted from the LCARS Database.

"Captain, I attempted to access the Prefix codes for the USS Evolution; it appears that they have been deleted from the LCARS Database."

Baphomet then turned back to her station and continued running sensor scan, to see if there was any change to the speed of the Evolution, or some anomaly ahead that could be used to their advantage.

"Indeed."

[Zaphan]

"This is...err...Captain Zaphan of the Loxian Commercial Freighter Drak'kai to any Federation vessel, we have an emergency.
My ship is about to fall apart and we have General Zayan on board, who has gone into labor.
We need assistance immediately, repeat WE NEED ASSISTANCE IMMEDIATELY."

"Captain Taurik, as a fellow Vulcan I find your actions in this situation with Captain Sanchez, illogical and irration.

I am disappointed in such a degradation in a fellow Vulcan and with such diplorable behaviour.

I once respected you as a Commanding Officer and as a Vulcan, but these actions you have performed are intolerable in a Commanding officer and it is my hope that you get the proper rehabilitation so as you might one day rejoin Starfleet and perhaps once again have a Command."

Baphomet had said all this with the obvious stoic and emotionless stance of a true Vulcan.

She then turned and left for the Bridge...

*Kassie rushes out of the turbolift nearly colliding with Morgan as she makes her way down to helm*

"Sorry, for my lateness captian.  The Doctor had me on bedrest."

[Taurik]

"I see. I was under the impression the Kelata was a customized Starfleet shuttle. Perhaps I need to meditate more often."

[Baphomet]

"Although loyalty is admirable Ensign, aiding and abetting a known felon is not."
"Your father will realise this and accept the consequences of his actions, which is the only logical thing to do."

Baphomet then turns to Captain Taurik.

"Although Captain Sanchez is an aquaintance of yours sir, it would be prudent to have the meeting here on the Rivendell or a mutual location, perhaps one of the Shuttles and acompanied by a Security Officer."

Baphomet then turns back to her console to maintain a constant visual on both vessels' status and the surrounding space.

"Tactical is standing by, sir".

[Baphomet]

"Commander, I have come up with a possible strategy to getting the prisoners out of the stockades.
Naturally the cells are shielded against transport, but with all of us working together we will succeed, but if we all have our different agendas we will surely fail.
Captain Sanchez will no doubt be determined to take a shuttle down to the planet, so with that in mind could follow him in my shuttle cloaked.
When he has safely landed in a secure location, I would then decloak my shuttle and use the Meson canons to cripple any defences.
As we do this, the Rivendell and the Evolution can maintain straifing runs against the Loxian vessels up here.
Once the shield is down the Rivendell can commence mass beaming of the prisoners and the Evolution crew if need be, sir."

*Baphomet transfered the information from the Kelata to the Rivendell's main computer, then sent it via subspace to the Evolution.*

*In the information was contained an underground complex below another complex, surrounded by the Loxian Governmments military hangers, baracks, Administration building and other various buildings that were undeterminable even via Interdimensional sensors.*
*The underground and above ground complexes were cordoned off by Force Fields and check points.*
