Mission 9: The Evolution's Flight

[Baphomet]

OOC: Okay so now I am confused, when you decide what you want to do, give me a call.

[Taurik]

"Logic would dictate that you give a PADD containing Zaphan's computer data to it's owner, Zaphan."

[Will Matthews]

"I was not aware of Captain Taurik's infractions untill told to detain both, I must admit. I had known Captain Sanchez was 'on the run'. Since that was our assignment".

He moved beside Freeman, to the two Captain's cell.

"But for a parent, I cannot say I condemn a bit of it in my mind".

[Randall Sanchez]

"I think it will be up to admiral Montrell and his JAG staff, who becomes the arbitor. We could probably use a lawyer, though, to plead our case."
*He then turns to the bridge crew.*
"Well, I'm ready to be brought before Starfleet authorities on Avalon Station."

[Will Matthews]

Matthews stepped onto the bridge and took his place at tactical.
"Ready here, Captain".

Matthews stood by on the bridge.

OOC:...Not sure what to do

Morgan stands from the engineering station and walks towards the captain.

"Sir, I must agree with Baphomet.  At leaset wear a tracking device so that we can beam you out before they can raise there shields."

OOC:  Ok so here is how we deal with this, in my opinion.  Captain Taurik, if you side with Sanchez you should prepare a surprise to incapacitate the Rivendell.  
If you want to go that's fine with it, but you need to make is seem like you went against your will so that it will give us something to do.

My best guess at what the Captain is doing Sir is that he knows something we don't. I think he is trying very hard to do both sir. I think he is trying to stay close enough to Captain Sanchez that when this fight is over he can personall take him and the crew back to Avalon for Court's Marshel and help him get this Zayan woman.

This is captain Sanchez speaking. The Loxian shuttle has arrived and we're ready. We're about to head into the frontlines of the Loxian Government ships now. Good luck, and hopefully we will talk again soon.

[Event Horizon]

The U.S.S. Evolution, starship of the Federation and home to more than eighty Starfleet officers, took it's last proverbial breath.

The auto-destruct sequence was initiated, and the charges housed along the impulse reactors ignited. It was slow at first, the fire spewing lazily from the impulse engines, working its way along the saucer and dorsal spine, and reaching the warp core.

The antimatter containment pods were breached, and antimatter particles were released into Engineering, where they promptly reacted with the matter that composed the room. The Evolution twisted and lurched very violently, before splittng in two and vaporizing itself in an expanding plasma fireball.

As the plasma and fusion reached the remnants of the star Loxius Alpha, an amazing thing occurred. The core elements of the star, hydrogen and helium, began to actually fuse once more. The star, a dull grey for many years, began to glow again. It began as a deep red, slowly working it's way up the spectrum until the entire sphere shone a brilliant, bright yellow. The heat began to strike the planet Loxius Prime once more.

The star Loxius Alpha was alive again. But at a cost.

The U.S.S. Evolution, and with it, Commander Bryan Hannah, were no more.

"Hello Dyien, welcome to the Rivendell" Freeman says as he extends his hand to Dyien.

[Dyien]

"At the moment, I do not need much help. Your officers on the ground need more help. Forwarned that there may be a few Anti-Aircraft weapons still operationally down there."

A few minutes pass and an ship decloakes while in geo-syn orbit. It was nearly the size of the a Federation Defiant escort but looked to have minor hull damaged by sensors.
