Mission 9: The Evolution's Flight

[Will Matthews]

"Aye sir, coresponding with the transporter room for retreiving the crew".

[Baphomet]

[Dyien]

Dyien felt strange for a moment then got a telepathic message from Outpost Sigma 953. He knew what it meant instantly.

"I am sorry but I have to go. Something has happen that will affect Galactic Proportions."

With that, Dyien disappears into an orange transporter haze and reappears onto the Avenger which was leaving the atmosphere for a Hyperspace Jump. Around the Avenger, bluish'green light mix with red appears before the Avenger disappears 30 seconds later into Hyperspace heading back to Sigma 953.

[Taurik]

Before Baphomet left, Taurik added a single sentiment. "I respect your opinion, Commander. However, there is something I have learned in my time in Starfleet, and that is that, while logic is indeed a noble thing to aspire to, loyalty is just as noble, and I stand by my decisions. If Starfleet deems me unworthy to wear this uniform, I will surrender my commission without conflict."

[Taurik]

A communication comes in over the audio systems. "Taurik to Rivendell. You are now noticing a dramatic loss in power to all major systems. Without such power, continued pursuit of the Evolution will be impossible. You will also find that I have been incapacitated while onboard the Evolution. My rescue will also be inachievable. I assume you understand, and will relay this information to Admiral Vorak?"

[Taurik]

"Rivendell, this is Taurik. Set a course for Loxius Prime and escort us there at maximum warp. We will recontact you upon arrival to provide additional instructions. Taurik out."

[Orpheus]

"No, Doctor, transport will be impossible. Not only are we out of range, but we would have to lower our shields, a bad idea in a battle."

[Baphomet]

"The Evolutions evacuation is going smoothly commander".

[Morgan Freeman]

Permission to dock is granted.  Report to the bridge

Freeman walks into the Brig just in time to hear the Captains words to Baphomet.  He walks over and stands in front of the holding cell.

"Captain, I am just holding you here under orders of starfleet command. If we were not loyal to you we would not have come with you."

[Morgan Freeman]

"Aye sir, I will make the preparations and have them ready at your command."

Turning back to his station Morgan tries to analize the captains statement, caught off gaurd by the captain saying that he shared his sentiment.
 
Morgan sends a text message to Baphomet.
Will you look up the prefix codes for the Evolution for me?  Also, a am concerned the captain may be to close to the situation to be able to fire on his friend. What should we do?

Morgan also programs a firing pattern into the ships computer that will effectivly disable the Evolution and sends it to Matthews.

[Morgan Freeman]

"Thank you for coming Doctor, I need to know if you can find anything in the Captains file that would indicate his willingness to sacrifice this ship to save his friend.  
Go as deep as you need to in describing his thought process."

[Orpheus]

"Commander, we cannot lower shields to transport you. You must proceed to your escape pod and wait for a safe extraction after the battle."

[Ferando ONeil]

*Battle bridge section 3*

Helm bring us into transporter range of Captain Taurik and the crew of that downed freighter.

=/\= Transporter room 3 get ready to transport the Captain and the freighter to sick bay. =/\=

Helm once we have them onbard we need to head back to the other two sections to rejoin with them to make then whole rivendell again.

After moving to the closest area of space to the co-ordinates
I contact the Captain to let him know that we are waiting for him to contact us for transport.
