Balkazar

<Balkazar tapped his commbadge and called for a transport then in a hue of blue light, Everyone Starfleet and Marine alike were beamed off the station>

=^= "Captain, we are all off, now if you dont mind, BLOW THAT STATION TO HELL!.  Also, I suggest that we go and get the Iroquois out of her little situation right now while we have the rift generator.  We can hook it up to the deflector array and open the door way to this mirror universe hopefully and get them out of their.  Our job isnt done till the Iriquois and the Lothlorien returns home together." =^=

"Alright, lets get some rest and get the wounded to sickbay.  Put the Rift Generator under lock and key, then put a couple of guards on it." Balkazar said patting the back of the Ensign who was on duty.

John Moore

~"What the hell is going on?"~ John thought to himself as he headed to the Marine quarters, his gear securely stowed in the armoury. ~"First they get us all packed up like sardines in that flyer, and then tell us to scrub the mission?~

~"I have no idea what's going on, to be honest with you. What are 'sardines'?"~

John stopped dead as he heard the other voice in his head. He was used to telepathic links from growing up on Betazed, but this intrusion had non of the tell-tale signs he had come to associate with a telepathic link.

~"Who are you?"~

~"Oh, you heard that? You're stronger than I thought. Not many people have the mindpower to be able to hear us."~

~"I'm Betazoid, a telepathic. Who are you?"~

~"All will be explained in time. Now, what are sardines?"~

The conversation carried on all the way to the Marine quarters to see the Colonel.

Simon Rajnus

<Getting up out of his bed, Simon went directly to the Bridge>

"Captain, I ask you not to use the Rift Generator.  I know more about that Device then anyone on this ship and im telling you if you open a Rift to save the Iroquois you may regret it, the Rift Generator needs to be operated by someone who knows how it works and if your off by the SLIGHTEST! degree, you may wish you never opened the Rift to the Alternate galaxy.  Only I am qualified to operate the device." Simon said as he stared at his old friend.

Allison Cameron

Allison pulled back from Eastwoods side with a upset look on her face. She looked over at John then have the Nurse tie the Lt. Col to the bio-bed, to stop him doing it for a 2nd time.

"John how has is scans?" Allison asked John with a look that said I'm Ok. http://www.expansionfleet.com/ikonboard/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/love2.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':love2:'>

Voyager

Once Dolan had made sure there were absolutely no errors in his calculations, he finished up the rest of his simulations, restored the force fields around the generator, and then left the cargo bay for his quarters to rest until it was time to bring the generator online.

"Drop shields!

Tactical officer: "Are you sure captain?"

"Of course! Drop shields now!"

*The captain sees the marines enter the bridge*

"Private Starbow take over tactical, Private Morgan take the helm"

*The ship shakes again and a bright blue light is seen on the bridge*

Science officer: "Sir! The rift is fully opened!"

"Great! Send the following transmission trough on a secured channel!"

=/\= U.S.S. Iroquios, This is Captain Jeroen Bode of the Federation starship Lothlorien. We are a part of a rescues mission, to get you back! Please reply! =/\=

*Now the Lothlorien needed to wait for a responds from the Iroquios. The Lothlorien's hull was undergoing some heavy stress but she was still holding*

=/\= Dolan, how long can we maintain the rift? =/\=

Voyager

=/\= Well Captain, I don't really know, since I don't really know how much power the power tranfer link is bringing to the ship, however, considering that the link is tranferring power from power generators, possibly forever. =/\=

"Strange," said Dolan as he noticed what resembled weapons fire from the other side of the rift.

=/\= Captain, there seems to be weapons fire on the other side of the rift.  I think you should be prepared to raise shields at any time. =/\=

John Moore

John entered the bridge with an empty cup of coffee in his hand. He had tried to get in a few minutes of a meditation he had developed to enhance and help him control his abilities between being in the meeting room and the inevitable call to the Bridge. The meditation always drained him to the point where he either needed a lot of caffeine or adrenaline to stay awake until it wore off.

"John Moore, reporting."

Balkazar

<Bridge>

"Thank, you Lt. Col." Balkazar told Eastwood in a whisper.

John Simpson

"No offense, Captain.  But im not your messenger boy.  I go and fix up the wounded of fallen comrades, Starfleet, marine, and civilian alike." John said clearly and honestly.

*Looks to his right seeing Eastwood all geared up.*

"You sorry no good for nothin pain in my ass.... youve got a lot of nerve still wearin that uniform after the stunt YOU pulled."

*Throws his head back laughing, walks up to his old friend and extends his hand.*

"Good seein you Sir, its been a helluva long time old friend.  I seriously doubt you're gonna have to worry about this 'boot' killin off your men."
Today, you people are no longer maggots. Today, you are Marines. You're part of a brotherhood. From now on until the day you die, wherever you are, every Marine is your brother. Most of you will go to Vietnam. Some of you will not come back. But always remember this: Marines die. That's what were here for. But the Marine Corp lives forever. And that means YOU live forever.

"You bloody tell me old friend.."

*Shows Eastwood the Tricorder.*

"This is why I asked Dolan and the EMH to take a look at the readings.. they're similar to what theyve got inside on the table, just different... sort of....."
