=/\= I'll be sure to do that. =/\=

(OOC:  I'm not a fan of posting twice in a row so I'm waiting for someone to post after me in the Iroquois mission.  Besides, I don't have control of the Iroquois so I can't make it go through the rift.  So we'll have to wait for Lollock to get through the rift.)

John Moore

John raised his eyebrow at his CO's comment.

"Well this dude" he said, pointing to his head "doesn't seem to know what either is."

He shivered, and grunted under his breath; "Keep it down in there, will you?"

Voyager

Dolan asked quickly before he had to leave to suit up, "Should we go in environmental suits?  For all we know, life support is confined to certain areas.  In a place like this, they're going to need all the energy they need."

*Looks back and notices Dolan...*

Ensign... get up here with me on point.. Im not exactly the best with TriCorder readings, and I need you to help me interpret what Im seeing so we dont walk into an ambush."
Today, you people are no longer maggots. Today, you are Marines. You're part of a brotherhood. From now on until the day you die, wherever you are, every Marine is your brother. Most of you will go to Vietnam. Some of you will not come back. But always remember this: Marines die. That's what were here for. But the Marine Corp lives forever. And that means YOU live forever.

"ST-1, I want a head count and systems checks by the numbers.  Give me a 'Go/No Go' for launch."

<Marine Deck>

"Yeah, sure thing Colonel..."

*Lobo looked at the colonel completely confused turned and headed back towards his quarters.  As he walked the world grew grey, all color left his vision, he began hearing a voice speak to him again.

~gineering.... you must go to engi....~

*Lobo sat up with a start in his rack.

"Computer... Time?"

 = The time is 02 02 06 exactly =

*Lobo's head throbbed, his hands hurt, his knees ached and he felt a strange crawling sensation moving up his spine.  He rolled over and tried to go back to sleep, images of a black dragon with white tipped scales fighting a white tiger with black stripes circled in his mind, the sounds of swords clanging and armor clanking echoed in his sleep.  Suddenly he heard a familiar voice off in the distance, it sounded like Eastwood.  There was phaser fire, Lobo ducked, he could hear Galindez shouting at his squad on the Cerebus to get down and shut up.
   "GET DOWN, SHUT UP..." Galindez barked ((Yeah, just watched Forrest Gump, no way I could pass that up LOL))

*Lobo suddenly felt like he was being forced underwater, he grasped out and caught hold of a uniform.  He opened his eyes and saw Eastwood standing over him with a small bucket.

"You look like shite mate.* Eastwood said.

"Gee thanks, this comin from the guy who couldnt keep a single uniform pressed during boot camp.  Not that *I* had anything to do with that <chuckle>.  What the hell are you doing in my quarters, why the hell did you just soak my bed..... and what frackin time is it?  I feel like I just went 15 rounds with a Targ."

Balkazar

"Moore, Go grab Dolan out of the shuttle bay.  If hes going to come with us hes going to things our way." Balkazar ordered Moore as he was waiting for Lobo to get done gearing up.

John Moore

Moore moved with Balkazar, his fire team moving with him.

"Check your targets before you fire, men, if I know the LtCol he'll already have sent out scouting parties." he said.

As they rounded the third corner, Moore heard a loud groan. Looking ahead, he saw about six of the 'zombies', similar to the ones he shot down earlier, limping towards them. One had it's head in it's hand.

"OPEN FIRE!!" he shouted, firing off rounds of his rifle at the monstrosities.

Raszagal

"If your phaser rifles are the best weapon for the moment, I'll use those. If it's fine with you, I'll pick up a hand phaser and a phaser rifle at the next armory I pass."
Major Raszagal, Starfleet Marines 17th Battalion
Templar of the Gallifreyan Order

Voyager

<Engineering>

Dolan sighed and said, "Well, that might have been hoping for too much.  It'll take a few hours to repair the damage though.  I'll send an engineering team on it right away."  He called over several engineers and explained the situation to them and watched them head to the warp nacelle to begin repairs before turning back to his console and monitoring the weapons fire on the ship.

John Moore

John counted the heads of the marines there, and then turned around and accessed the console behind him, running a few quick diagnostics on the systems.

"Sir, we are a Go" he announced.

Balkazar

<Marine quarters>

"Hmmmm, from what I gather from Balkazar's mind, Sardines are a fish given to furry 4 legged animals correct?" the voice responded to the question as it temporarily took over Balkazars body.  The voice was deep but calm at the same time.

Voyager

<Calling after Balkazar>

"I thought I just said we couldn't scan past the outer hull...oh forget it, I'm getting into the environmental suit."

Dolan then left the bridge for the shuttle bay to get ready to leave.

Voyager

Dolan was walking slowly with Balkazar's team, observing the surroundings, and had just noticed the reanimated corpses when Moore gave the order to fire.  Dolan decided the 'zombies' aren't exactly friends as far as he could see and fire with his phaser.  Dolan then checked how far it was to the rift generator and groaned, seeing that it was several floors up Jefferies tubes that weren't connected and then down long winded corridors.  The only good side of this Dolan could see is the fact he might get to see what else was going on at the station, but that might not be great if they all were as intimidating as the 'zombies'.
