Mission 1: "Refitting"

"Welcome aboard, Nesbitt.  From this file I just recieved it says your my newest Surgeon.  Hmmmmm, Very well."

"Remember, everyone fights, no one quits, if you dont do your job ill shoot you myself.  Do you get me?.  Now, if you understand that, go down to the medical bay and assist Simpson in taking a inventory.  I want to see a full compilation of what is needed."

"Aye, Aye, Sir" Kang looks over at two enlisted men nearby "you two are with me, move out to the cargo bay and start taking inventory,  report to me in the armory when your finished." with that Kang headed towards the armory

If Mark was drinking his usal cup of Earth Coffee it would be all over the floor, because he was sure he just heard him say that Rajnus was his uncle, "Your uncle is Captain Rajnus!?" Mark exclaimed, a bit off.

<Waiting for the XO to leave to have a private word with the Admiral>

"Admiral, I have no god complex.  I will make this work.  But please inform the CO that I will be part of any descision making that involves the marines.  And I will give my men the orders not him.  As far as following the chain of command, I just needed to be reminded who is in charge on board the vessel and I thank you for reminding me of that, Admiral.  Please excuse my arogance, its been awhile sense I have been on a ship.  Perhaps in time we will work as a well oiled machine but until then.  Theres bound to be problems along the way.  Maybe this will be a good thing.  Would you like a tour of the vessel, Admiral?" Balkazar said.

the exam sir, nesbitt continues with the tricorder. however he sees nothing else out of the ordinary internally. alright colonel now we must check the skin for any sign of fungal growth, please stand and reveal your chest and abdomen. alright you look clear. Is there anything else that you need to discuss?

"Very good, Private.  Watch out for these young ensigns.  They seem to green and act like it as well." Balkazar whispered to his men out of ear shot of the Starfleet personel.

*Acknowledges Mr. Simpson and takes a seat, before pulling out his journal*

There appears to be limited trust between the navy and marine personnel. I tend to think its because we are not yet exploring the stars and are becoming a little impatient, despite only recently arriving. - A poor human trait indeed.
I'm sure some good food and drink at the mess hall would help iron out what disputes we have, but I'd dare not involve here for I have problems of mine own.

*Puts down his journal and awaits Dr. Nesbitt*

"Hmmm, I wonder whos more hot headed, Marine CO's or Starfleet Captains." He thought to himself.

"Hmmmm, this should be an interesting time, Captain.  Oh by the way.  Do you have an assistent helmsmen?.  I have a private who has some experience in being a co-pilot." Balkazar said.

"I knew I should've joined the marines.." Mark mummbled as he regained his balanced.

"I think we should update those systems then.  I think we can add newer systems in while we wait for the completion of the USS Lothlorien."

No I've seen you navy boys before, but we Marines prefer to be called men......Sir. " Ressik says "I'll get it done."

"Hows your own stomache from Kellers punch?"

<Turns around and notices Mason was staring at him but doesnt pay him no mind as John turns and stood by Balkazar with his phaser in its holster and took up a guard position nearby>

<In the turbolift before it stops>

"Im sure you mean well, Lt.  But so does the Col.  You need to learn to keep your attitude in check.  He actually was quite light on you compared to what he did to me when I first started here.  He literally had me clean the latrines for a lil mistake.  But a mistake can cost lives.  Understand?.  You probly dislike him right now, but it wont last.  Youll learn to respect him, then you will find out he can be a great friend to you.  Ok?.  Well lets get you your physicals." John finished as the doors opened.

"I sure hope they learn that marines arent the same as navy." John said to himself.

<John took the 2 threw corridors and around corners till they finally ended up at sickbay>

"Nesbitt, these 2 need there physicals.  Ill take care of Mr Mason here, and you can have Maguid.  Ok?" John finished then took Mason to a biobed to begin his physical.

<Over by the biobed>

<Takes up a medical tricorder and begins scanning Mason>

"So, Mason.  Have you had any illnesses lately? sickness we should be concerned about?.  Remember I may be a combat medic but I follow the same, Doctors oath has any other doctor.  Whatever, you tell me will be kept confidential.  Understand?" John told Mason.
