Mission 1: "Refitting"

*...Yates Salutes the marine Captain and shakes his hand...*

"It is good to have you back captain."

[Lois]

Mark nodded, "Should.. We probally start to inspect it," He said "Well you, not me," He added quickly

[Lois]

"He was my Tactical instructor," He said, glancing at the Admiral.

[Julian]

I came on because this ship is a big part of EF's history and i wanted to make sure the progress of getting her spaceready again went smoothly. But obviously an admiral like myself cant do that simply because another has already been here.

*sigh* Fine i will leave, i have other matters to attend to anyway. I can see im not wanted here. You better not turn her into a battle-eager warship, shes not designed for it..

*with that said the Admiral turned and headed for his flyer. He was a bit upset that the marines were taking over the ship. Not because they were doing it but because he felt unwelcome on a naval vessel.*

[Jacob Ressik]

<Medical Department>
Ressik enters and sits while waiting for his physical.

[William Wallace]

OOC: I know that Mr Balkazar. I know that your bark is the worst but it is the way I was greeted. I mean you know harm by what I said and I know that you would tow the line correctly.

IC: No Captain I have hearn nothing from the High Command. Well we could always offer chiefhelmsman to a lower ranked Officer of the Marines sir. A show of faith. I mean if we looka at the way Admiral Janeway crew got along sir we see that Marques and starfleet working in combination perfectly. So if they can do it maybe a mix of Bridge Crew could be of use here too.

[Tom Titan]

*As the Colonel walked in and announced himself Titan was reading from a PADD. He sets the PADD down and he stands up and greets the Colonel.*

"Colonel, as you know I am your captain, Thomas Titan. Our purpose together is to serve as a fast response task force to w variety of emergency situations. My ship will serve as a motive of transportation for your marines but I want to make one thing clear. Everyone on this ship will be considered as an equal and there will be no discrimination. I will enforce this amoungst my crew as you will with your soldiers and if the situation calls for it I will take matters to myself to enforce with all crews. I would also like to add that we may be equal in rank but we are not in authority. I am the Captain of this ship and my word is absolute. My orders will be carried out by both navy and marine crews. There will be no exceptions to this and, although, you may be the commander of the marines my orders will be followed by everyone. I have been told about you and your bond with your men on of which I can understand. But do not let this bond get in the way of your duties. Now, I am giving you absolute command of the marines as a show of good faith, but Commander Wallace and I will have the ability to undermine orders that you may have given to your men. I only do this to ensure that not one man has total control of the marines. Now do you have any questions, Colonel?"

[William Richerd]

Richerd soon walked out of the turbo lift and walked up to Commander Wallace. He gave a quick salute and a nod of the head. "You called sir?" He then stood at an attention, having slipped back into his Marine Training.

[Andrew Yates]

"He wasn't all that bad when he served with me in Alpha. Computer report on that diagnostic."

Computer: "95% Until completion."

"Damn it. I forgot this thing was not running on the  newer computer cores..."

[Balkazar]

"Get to work, we only have a week or less if we tripple shift.  If your not busy doing one thing, find something else to do.  Understand?.  Good get to work."

"Admiral, see about getting us a cloaking device."

<Docking bay>

"Yes sir.  Though I am still curious."

[William Wallace]

Coming back onto the Bridge to meet the Captain I go directly to him.

"Captain Titan. Welcome sir, I am Commander William Wallace. Former Chief Science Officer of the evolution sir. Your first Officer. Happy to make your aquaintance sir. With the Marine here sir I don't see either of us getting to do much planet hopping sir. Colonel Balkazar is a bit harsh but he is okay for a Marine. He only wants the best for his men I am sure of that."

[Maguid Velotian]

*Sighs deeply before looking at John Simpson disapprovingly*
I understand that you marines aren't well versed in the art of diplomacy, but make up for it in other ways I'm sure. *Looks at Balkazar and nods*

*Turns his attention back towards John Simpson, trying to conceal some painful memories*
You need not remind me of our current affairs Mr. Simpson, but for now lets just say that I consider The Federation more of a family than I do The Romulan Empire.

*Tries to pull off a smile to show no ill feeling towards John Simpson, before turning to face the two marines laughing off any tension*
It's actually about time we get our back bones checked up. I'm ready whenever you are Mason.

[Maguid Velotian]

*Puts his uniform back on and turns to face the good doctor*

Thank you doctor, I'll remember to bring my medical information with me next time, if it prevents me having to go through that sex organ exam again. *Chuckles Maguid*
