Mission 2: "Lending a Helping Hand"

<Heraani vessel>

<John worked hard to patch up the wounded and get them back into the fight.  Few were falling as they armored marines were pushing the Heraani soldiers back.  John soon groaned in pain as his leg was grazed by a heraani weapon>

"Col.  We have 20 minutes to take over this vessel, sir." John called out.

Hypospray 20cc's Inaprovaline, i need the Defibrillator. {nesbitt places the defibrillator onto the skin over the heart} the combination of the drug and the shock seem to be working he is returning to regular heart rythems.

"I want you to get that secured and have active patrols ensuring the ship is indeed captured fully. Check every deck, every room, every compartment. Don't kill when it is not necessary. Any prisoners we can get will be more help to us. When you have completed that return to the Lothlorien leaving your best officer in command of the heerani ship. I want a full report on the commandeering of that craft and all the information you have attained from it on my desk asap."

"Commander the bridge is yours. Keep the men busy."

<Walks onto the bridge and looks around, John eyes Mason with wearied eyes as he diverted his attention to his superiors>

"Col, Commander.  Maj. Keller will live, we repaired the critical systems and put him into stasis.  Most of that damage we cant fix.  So until medical advances are made to repair him fully, hes in stasis.  But hes alive atleast.  Another 10 died marines died but the others will make a full recover." he said breathily heavily as he leaned against the wall to try and regain some strength.

<Hearing the communications from Titan, Balkazar gives thanks to Yates before he starts to select his 40 best men to wear the suits>

"I love field tests only time to get the bugs out.  We will head to the bridge and get control of the ship, it will take atleast 30 minutes to take control of the ship and another hour to figure out how to fly it.  Thats the minimum time line I can give you for the moment." Balkazar responded to Titans communications. =^=

<Closes communications>

"John you get a suit on too, I dont need my medic/pilot to die in the midst of it all.  The rest of you stay behind the armored men.  They will act as a frontal and rear defense for each squad.  Once we arrive 100 men will head to the rear of the ship lead by Richerd.  Ill take the other 100 troops and head for the bridge.  Once we clear the bridge, John you are to try and figure out the ship and how to pilot it.  Hopefully Starfleet R&D can figure out some way to use there own weapons against them if this mission succeeds." Balkazar told his men.

"We are ready down here, Captain.  Beam us all somewhere to the center of the ship and we will take it from there." Balkazar suggested.

[Maguid Velotian]

*Acknowledges the Captain and nods in approval before turning back to his controls activating a visual of the nebula on-screen*

"Yes, Sir. As you can see it's a Cerulean Nebula."

*On the screen in-front - a distant view of the beautiful nebula is displayed.
Its radiant light blue colours glimmer throughout the galaxy in an awe-inspiring fashion*

*Maguid thinks towards the upcoming battle and grimaces at the thought of tainting such a fair and peaceful anomaly with the wreckage of the Heraani, before turning to face the captain*

"Shields and sensors cannot function within this Nebula, sir. It is a haven if you will."

<Before beaming over>

Richerd nodded his head, Aye sir, I will head to the engineering section right as soon as I beam over.

<After the beam over>

Richerd dropped to one knee, and fired to the rear, seeing how troops were comming at them from the rear. "Okay, the rear is free, those under me, let's move out, we have our orders."

He had a look of understanding. "Let's move out men, we have twenty minutes." He right away with his men began to move forward and closer to main engineering of the Enemy vessel.

[Nathen Keller]

*...Nate enter the bridge. The thuds of his armored footsteps could be heard as he entered...*

"Colonel we have secured the.....AAAH.... Ugh...."

*...A blue glowing blade was swiftly plunged through Nate and he was slowly lifted into the air then thrown across the room. His lifeless body landed and smashed a control consul then all of the sudden the Commander of the Heerani ship and an elite group of spec ops Heerani de-cloak and engage the marines...*

<Sickbay>

"Oh good, Crap, seems theres another tear in his lungs we didnt see it before.  Wheres the Laser Scapel."

<The Nurse hands him the laser scapel and John begins to work to repair the damage to Kellers lung>

<After a few minutes the lung was repaired and then John assisted in trying to put in an artificial heart again>

"Lets see, high resistence forces, captured heraani captain, lost 10 armors, 40 wounded 10 dead, and you ask how it went?"

We carrently lake an engineering chief Captain. we shall have to do without that team and hope that when we arrive back at base we will be able to be repaired then, becasue we have more important things to do.

I believe the marines will be useful in their zero G training is of a much higher standard than a normal ships crew is given. Sir if I might also suggest maybe helping to defend them with some of our shuttle craft sir.

I would also suggest that we keep our surprise underwraps until we have a better chance of getting the USS Iraquos through the battle Captain. I am sure the crew wouls like to live to tell the tale. Rather than resort to the lifeboats sir.

Okay Mr Richerds, I am sure that if we stop and think about it we all have friends over there. But in your case I think you could be of more use over there. Colonel Balkazar also asked you to make your way there when your job was finished here so we won't stand between you and him.

OOC: I have let Commander Lollock know that a probe will be sent. So don't forget to post the message about the plan on the Iroquois board sometime soon. Their in a bit of a stalemate at the moment.

IC: Keep an eye on that probe Mr Velotian. Let us know when it find and passes on the message. I think the Iroquois may well be important in the success of this mission. Seeing as we are here to rescue her.
