Mission 2: "Lending a Helping Hand"

[William Richerd]

William Richerd entered the bridge his arm held limply at his side, he had a phaser in his left hand and he looked like he had just gone through a bad battle. He smiled at the group around him. "I see that you got the bridge, it seemed that they fortified at the engineering section... we have five critically wounded men, as well as what I think to be a cheif engineer stunned, I have five men to make sure that he stays under until we can get a proper brig set up." he seemed pleased with himself. "I must say this was a good battle, and the ship is still flyable." He then locked eyes on Balkizar, "I am heading on a patrol, we had a small group of five men attack us using clocking belts... I think we can use them to our advantage, but I fear we might have a few single men parties to snip us off... so I should warn you in person." he then turned around and left the bridge to hunt for any more enemies on board the ship.

<Sickbay>

<Rushes over to Major Keller and grasps his hand as a silent way of John letting Keller know he wasnt alone as the nurses heaved him onto a biobed nearby>

<Leans in close to his ear and whispers>

"Im with you brother, dont leave us just yet.  Theres more battles for you to fight and I wont let a fellow marine die on my watch without a fight." he said grasping Kellers hand as he stood up and used his other hand to grab for a hyprospray to put him to sleep while we worked on him.

"Hes ready doctor.  I suggest we do a quick look to see the exact injuries first before treating." he said calling out to Nesbitt.

[Tom Titan]

*Tom stands up and paces a bit waiting for the Heerani ships and the small defiant class to exit the nebula. Then on the view screen the defiant class pops out of the nebula followed by the two Heerani ships.*

"FIRE! Target the lead ship do not give them a chance to get a weapons lock or bring their shields back up. Don't even give them a chance to blink and second guess what had just happened!"

"Send over our engineering cheif and a couple teams to help get the basics done onthis ship so we cna make it back to Avalon."

IC: Ah! Welcome Back Colonel. Captain Titan is currently over on the Iroquois sir. How did it go over there on the Heranni Ship?

[Tom Titan]

"Indeed they are my god be with them."

"Colonel, Admiral Yates loaded 40 special combat armors onto this ship. I am not allowed to let them be used until fully tested but I see this as a good opportunity to test them now. So I want you to pick 40 of your best men and suit them up."

[John Simpson]

"Yes sir." Simpson called out.

<Opens a channel to the USS Lothlorien>

"Captain, we have suddenly gotten us a prisoner.  Happens to be a Heraani Cmdr.  The Cmdr of this ship to be more precise.  We also lost Nathen.  Hes barely alive and we will be out of the nebula in the next 5 minutes.  Tell Nesbit to prepare the medical bay for wounded.  Most of the marines are wounded only 10 are critical.  Also if you have a brig get ready to hold our guest in there.  Heraani ship out." Simpson reported.

<End transmission>

<Minutes past as they exited the nebula the Iroquois picked up a heraani vessel fly out of the nebula and started to head towards them>

"Col. we are out and are in transporter range.  Lowering shields, I think."

<Sends another transmission to the Iroquois>

"Transport our wounded the shields are down and you may transport out guest to the brig." Simpon called out.

[Maguid Velotian]

*The probe darts its way through space and into the mouth of the nebula; becoming completely engulfed by its power it falls out of the ships sensors*

*It continues into the stomach of the beast and finds the Iroquois...*

"Sir, the probe should have found its way to the Iroquois by now."

OFF: The Iroquois know of the plan.

Maj. Keller is transported straight to an operation room. I need 20cc's of Melorazine injected now. and get me Exoscalpal, Dermal Regenerator, Physiostimulator, Plasma Infusion Unit, we will now place the patient in a state of Cryostasis in order for his condition to stabilize. now will will commence the tests the following tests will need to be completed in no more than one hour; Basilar Arterial Scan, Inner Nuncial Series, Hyperencephalogram, Neural Imaging Scan,  Resonance Tissue Scan of the wound on the back. <Nesbitt walks out of the OR and to his office>

[Balkazar]

<Heraani Vessel>

"Richerd, open fire on the lead ship.  Then retarget the second ship and fire on it." Balkazar ordered.

[Balkazar]

<Captured Heraani Vessel>

"You heard the captain, full sweep of the ship.  Then I want 20 men to stay aboard, the rest beam back to the Lothlorien.  Richerds, take 100 marines and sweep the ship, just incase we might have missed a few.  Ill download what we have found out about the Heraani Vessel and report to Captain Titan." Balkazar had ordered.

<Balkazar takes a PADD and take the next 30 minutes downloading and compiling a report for the captain>

<In sickbay it took almost 20 hours to try and repair the wounds to Major Keller.  They succeeded to repairing as much of the wounds as possible and decided till medical knowledge expanded further to put Maj. Keller in stasis for the time being till they were able to fully repair his wounds>

"Nesbitt, im going to try and find the Col and give him a report.  Contact if you need me for anything." he said wearily as he headed out the door still covered in blood from both the combat on the Heraani ship and Maj. Kellers blood.  He had yet to have time to shower to remove the blood from his body.

[Tom Titan]

"The other two ships won't know whats going on. The if I am correct the Nebula they are hiding in will disable shields and sensors. Mr. Velotian can you confirm this?"

[Balkazar]

<Heraani ship>

*Keeping a cool head as to what just happened, Balkazar orders the armored units to rally, in a short time they did and entered melee combat with the Heraani solders.  It was a tough fight as several heraani soldiers went down from blade gashes across there chests, several were killed as they were cleaved in two.  In less then 10 minutes they were all killed save for the Commander*

"Surrender, Cmdr.  Your troops are dead and your cut off from your people.  You have no where to go." Balkazar called out to the heraani cmdr.

"Ill have my revenge on you and Ill suck the marrow from your BONES!!!! you scum." he said as he charged Balkazar in an act of desperation.

<Parrying the Cmdr's sword and slashing the cmdr in the back, he went down barely alive from his wounds>

"Simpson, Pilot us out of here and inform the Iroquios we have a prisoner." Balkazar called out.

[Tom Titan]

"Colonel you may beam over when ready. Good luck. Titan out."
