"You'll act as my temporary first officer, let one of our officers take your station and take the bridge.....I'll be at my Ready Room"

"Simpson, when you have a full count I want to know how many we lost and were wounded." Balkazar told Simpson quietly.

<On his way to see Brown in the brig, a private delivered the report that the Col requested earlier.  He looked it over as he entered the brig and saw Richard in the brig cell, then nodded to the marines who escorted him here to dismiss.  Then Balkazar paced back and forth infront of the brig cell door.  Still clad in his combat armor with scratches and blood all over it, while glaring at him as if waiting for Richard to say something>

<Alf came running/waddling onto the ship and headed for the bridge.  He squeezed threw the Col and the young man, excusing himself in the process.  Then headed for Bode>

"Captain." Alf said looking the Captain up and down hoping he had a cat onboard.  "I offer my services.  Those are my people out there and I want to make sure they get home safely and treated with respect if they are still alive, if not then proper Melmacian burial.  Ok?" Alf said with honesty, and it was obvious in his eyes he wanted to go as it was his friends and his son who insisted on seeing space.  But he didnt tell anyone about his son though.

<Its been some time sense Balkazar was at Tactical back on the USS Skytoucher but he was pretty sure he could remember where everything was>

"Sheilds are green, weapon systems are functional, and the torpedo tubes are primed and ready." Balkazar said feeling great for being back at Tactical even if it was temporary.
