Mission 5 "The Great Blue Yonder"

"Judging on your file alone, I find you to be shady and erratic. You make snap decisions and don't keep your crew entirely in the loop. I knew that much about you before I joined your crew, and even though I've only been on your ship for a matter of days, I've already seen it. That stunt with the shuttle? That's a pretty damn good example right there. As for trusting you.. well, I hardly trust anyone with too much. Once again, I'm sure you understand."

Sheilds 84% and Holding, *Richard Quickly returned Fire and the Fighters came in for an other Attack*

*Powell looked to his radio as it muffled out something, he wasn't able to make it and he continued down the long corridor with his team. It felt like they have been walking about fifteen minutes until they saw ahead a very large blast door. It was about the size of two shuttles stacked on one another and as wide as two of next to each other the long way. As they approached he also thought he had just scene a bend in the light of the flash light of the man taking point. It was only for a split second and he thought nothing about it. As they got to the door He searched for a control panel as to open it. He walked from one side to the other and found on the wall a panel. It was glowing red as to indicate it as being sealed. He had one of his technicians come up with all his fancy gear and work on it to open it. The stood there about ten minutes then all of the sudden from behind them a pressance was felt they looked and nothing was there. Powell held up a light down the corridor and the light was bent so bad it look like a spool of thread had got caught in some kind of engine. After that the wrist blades of the Heeran light up in a quick flash and their cloaks dropped and they charged.*

"Alert cover your selves from the rear!"

*Powell shouted to get the attention of the unsuspecting marines and as they turned one by one they took a stance, took aim, and unleashed their deadly precics marine accuracy upon the charging Heeran.*

[Dar'Nas]

< Dar'Nas was finally able to repair the sensor array. He grabbed a phaser and ran for the air lock to help with the battle raging outside.>

he tapped his com badge and told the captain that the sensors were up and running at 63.4%.

[John Moore]

John blinked a few times. His vision was......odd. Everything was odd colours, and looked warped. He tried to clear it from his vision, but to no effect. It felt as if he was detached from the situation somewhat.

Trying to make himself believe that nothing was up with him, he joked to Colonel Balkazar; "Can't we just kick it, Sir?"

[HK47]

"I dont threaten, I intimidate then go to threatening, then go to Disembowlment, Ancient meatbag." HK said back playfully.

[Voyager]

"Well, I'm still tinkering with a holographic prototype, but I don't see why I can't construct one now.  I'll get on it right away.  Thank you for your input."

Dolan left the bridge and headed for Cargo Bay 1.  Once there, he started constructing his prototype, starting with the basics.  He constantly referred back to his plans, which he had adjusted to allow for a small shield generator and for several other adjustments later on.  After about an hour and a half, he had finished with the simpler components of the phaser bank.  Fortunately, the prototype didn't really require any specially designed equipment.  The computer used for interface with the prototype and ran most of the phaser's processes was just a modified desktop monitor.  The other materials -- phaser emitters, isolinear chips, casing -- weren't too difficult to find.  He had to replicate most of the materials for the fusion reactor, the sensors, and the shield generator, since the spare parts on the ship were too large to be used for the phaser bank.  He decided to program the necessary algorithms and subroutines later, as they would be very time-intensive.

After finishing with the replications, Dolan stored everything away and headed back to the bridge, as they had almost arrived at the planet.  However, after a few minutes of watching the ship's sensors, a shockwave hit the ship, knocking everyone on the bridge who wasn't sitting off their feet.  The ship suddenly cut engines and all of the bridge consoles locked themselves down.  A symbol which Dolan recognized as the Greek letter Omega was displayed on the consoles.  He tried to override the lockout but nothing he did worked.  He glanced over at Admiral Yates and Rajnus, both of which had an alarmed look on their faces as several of the bridge officers reported the same problem Dolan had.

[Simon Rajnus]

"Tell me what you do know, speak openly.  You wont be punished for anything.  Im curious what you have heard about me.  I know I have a reputation and in that many people trust me and others dont.  So tell me what you know from your observations and my file that you are allowed to see." Simon asked Aariya again.

[Simon Rajnus]

<The helmsmen called out reporting that they will reach the lower atmosphere of the planet in several minutes, they soon started to rapidly descend as the Heerani fighters closed in and fired on the Lothlorien.  Soon her warp nacelle's were hit forcing them to go down even quicker>

=^= "Col, get to the planet ASAP.  We wont beable to hold this altitude for long." =^= Simon said as the ship shook and consoles exploded sending crewmen literally flying in the air.

[Nathen Keller]

*Nate was worreid he would n ot catch up with Hk in time to assist in any strik he might be tring to conduct but about 30 minutes of hard trudging through dense forest he saw the droid and his companion in front of him on a mountain ledge scouting ahead at the Heeran landing parties. He approached silently to prevent detection from the enemy.*

"Hk47? I am Lt. Colonel Nate, I am going to assum command of this unit under Colonel Balkazars authority. What do you have to report as of thus far?"

[Balkazar]

"Your quite welcome.  I wasnt planning on killing him, only gave you the time required to deal with him yourself." Balkazar said as he called in the 10 power armored marines into the fight, since it started to look grim.  Sweat pouring down from his face, night fell and the Heraan kept trying to push threw the marine lines, despite the obvious weariness of the marines they kept firing for it was life or death.

=^= "All Sections, whats your status." =^= Balkazar said over his commbadge and started to listen to the reports as they came in.

[Balkazar]

<Before Cloud could float threw, Balkazar grabbed onto his leg and pulls him back to where he was facing the Col's hard cold face>

"Watch your Damn rank, Commander.  Your a Lt. Commander, NOT! a 12 yr old out on a field trip who finds a nice shiny stone.  You will stay in this room or Ill have my Sargeant here personally ensure that you scrub every deck on this ship by the time we get back to the station!" Balkazar said angrily.

"Raszagal, Do what you can, I suggest trying to shut down the self destruct first then worry about everything else later.  We need life support back and gravity, along with the ships functions!" he ordered Raszagal.

[Raszagal]

Raszagal smiled the most fake smile imaginable.

"Then let me rephrase my statement," she said, dropping the smile icily. "Threatening, intimidating, disemboweling, or otherwise harming or negatively confronting a Starfleet officer is a very bad idea."

[HK47]

<HK came walking onto the bridge and noticed everyone huddled around 2 higher ranking meatbags>

"General Meatbag, its a pleasure." HK said with a computerized voice.  "Im here to assist Col Balkazar who sooooo requested my unique assistent skills." HK finished.

[Simon Rajnus]

"Yes, I can understand but from what the public file says he was a good diplomat, however, were you aware of his unofficial acts?" Simon asked Aariya point blank.  "It seems your father was making deals in the way of weapons and selling them to the Romulans.  He also aquired information about the same romulans he was selling weapons too and it seems that they used those weapons to destroy the population of Andromeda Prime.  Unofficially, he has more blood on his hands then you would think.  As for your mother, she died because of your fathers blood lust by using his diplomatic skills to help the enemies of the federation.  Were you aware of that!.  I wonder if your not just like your father!." Simon said glaring at Aariya.
