Quinn

A tone rang out from Quinn's console,

"I'm picking up a large unknown object in our proximity, approximately twenty thousand kilometers port side. Sensors can't get a clear picture of what it is.." He reported, reading off the sensor readings.

He ran his fingers quickly across the panal, "Uh, possibility a large vessel,"
"Sorry Admiral, thought you died,"

Balkazar

"Do you have to call me, Col Meatbag?.  That tells me you really dont respect the chain of command.  Why dont you just call me Col? and yes we are going in hard, once we get past the planets atmosphere we will beam down to the surface and watch the Lothlorien crash hard!" Balkazar said with some sense humour.

Balkazar

=^= "All teams, Open fire.  Take the advantage of their disorientation.  Hold your ground and fire on all Heraan soldiers within weapons range." =^= Balkazar ordered over the Comm badge, as their was back ground noise of Phasers being shot all at once on Balkazar's end.

(OOC: What do you want me to do?  I'm stuck in underground trying to destroy the Omega particles...and have no clue what is going to happen after that.)

<Research Facility, Underground>

Dolan tried to work quickly, since the Heraan were showing signs of making slow progress in opening the blast doors, but knew he could not make any mistakes in the procedure or else the molecules would detonate.  The result was a feverish input of commands and contant double checking.  After about half an hour, he had managed to destroy most of the particles.

Simon Rajnus

((3 on 1 ?, I dont have that many commanding officer types here.  Balkazar simply walked away.  Simon is asking for a report.  I dont use 2 characters to gang up on anyone.))

"Its good you are into regulations, but quoting regulations around the marines after they fought so valiantly today is unwise.  Perhaps asking him later will suffice but for now leave him be and allow him to do his job.  Understood?.  Now thats taken care of, whats the status of the Marine and Starfleet officers?" Rajnus asked.

William Richerd

Richerd entered the Bridge and his face was red still from the dressing down he had given the new recruits, he was upset at the five minutes it took for the drill to complete.

He gave a salute to the General. "It is a pleasure to see you again Sir... I just finished giving a nice lecture with the new students, must say that they failed that last pop quiz." He was trying to make a joke but one thing that he had never been able to do was work a good joke.

He looked at the bridge and smiled, it was getting a little busy here and it was good.

Aariya Sayuri

Her expression didn't change. She had expected better from him; testing her in this manner was hardly wise. She knew full well that he was prodding her for a reaction, and she had absolutely no intention of giving him one. "In some ways we're very much a like," she said softly, after a moment "and in others, not so much. We both always knew how to get a job done, and neither of us are very good at playing by the rules. With that said, here is where we differ: I can't be bought, regardless of the price. And if that wasn't the case, Captain, you and I wouldn't be having this charming conversation."

Dolan was startled at Brown's voice, not noticing him on the Bridge.  He made the suggested adjustments and saw the minefield extended for about a billion kilometers.  He had tactical make the required calculations on how many mines could be destroyed and how many photon torpedoes were needed.  Once ship repairs were complete, the torpedoes were fired and a path was cleared.  The ship moved forward, careful to avoid any other mines.  As they finally pulled clear of the minefield, another shockwave from the Omega molecules hit the ship, almost knocking it back into the minefield.  As they came to approached the system where the Omega molecules were expected to be, the warp field the ship was in destablized and the ship was forced to go on impulse only.

William Richerd

Richerd entered the Cargo Bay holding one end of what looked to be a weapon locker, at the other end was a Private, most likely one of the more... "Special" ones with the way he was glaring at Richerd.

He had heard the last part. "Yeah... and I just hope we land her in a way to let this old bird fly again." he didn't like the thought of all of this, they could be losing another star ship... and with some of the ship yards here in idle mothball... he was unsure of how they would get a new Marine ship.

He just hope that they didn't go all the way to crash landing the ship.

He then had the container placed on one of the cargo transporters and stepped away from it. He turned to face the Colonel.

"That was the last supply box for the mortar team... I have all the Pelicans and Pumas prepped for fast take off, and well... Permission to lead part of the mission?"

He was not mentioning the real problem with the private who was standing guard over the weapon supplies on the cargo transporter, ready to be beamed to pattern buffers of the troop drop ships.

He then waited at attention, paying little attention to the Sentient Robot at the moment.

((I would think that if a Marine ship... has shields and needs a Marine attack force off ship... they would have one of those... or two. Just a thought. They would be armed of course.))

Raszagal

Raszagal peered from a small breach in the outer hull, to see the Heraani ranks be nearly decimated by the deflector pulse. She grabbed the sniper rifle from a nearby weapons rack that had spilled open, and activated the tactical display on her helmet. This display linked directly into the targeting sensors in the rifle, giving her a high-powered digital scope, regardless of whether the rifle was raised to her eye.

She honed in on one particularly ornate set of armor, worn by a Heraan that carried two small plasma rifles.

Szzzoooo.

The shot, audible only to those in or near the firing line, completely drained the Heraani lieutenant's personal body shields, and the small, bright crystal that powered the shields flickered to a dim shadow of it's original color. There was a hole in his armor as well, surrounded by dark purple ichor.

Szzzoooo.

The second shot was aimed right at the alien's cranium, and there was no doubt of the lieutenant's condition when his head vaporized from the intense energy beam.

As the smoldering corpse fell to the ground, the already dazed subordinates around him were nearly in shock as they watched their officers get picked off one by one. Without their officers to lead them, the inferior Heraan tried to take command, but fell into various ambushes and traps much easier, and were severely hindered in their efficiency, without the psionics to lead them.

<Crash site>

"Then do it.  We need to see whats out their." Simon ordered Brown.

"Admiral, you doing ok? are you going to live till the marines get here?" Simon asked, obviously caring about his friends medical condition.

=^= "Staff heads, Status." =^= Simon ordered over the comm.

Aaron Cloud

Cloud glances at Balkazar.

"Sir, I never said that I did not care about your officers, nor was I refusing to treat them. I was simply stating regulation."

He turns to Rajnus.

"Yes sir."

He turns and starts doing what he needs.

OFF: Of course it's going to be hard to exert authoriry when its 3 on 1. Especially if the three are controlled by one person. Sighs. :-P

Dolan relaxed his salute.  He was so relieved, he almost missed seeing an engineer that entered the bridge.  He excused himself from the group and reached the engineer, who handed Dolan a PADD with a status report on the ship.  Dolan thanked the engineer and dismissed him.  After the doors closed, he started looking over the report.  As he read it over, he remembered the nanites Rajinus had injected into the ship's systems and made a note to ask him about them.
