*Will glances at Vorak, then picks up a padd*

"...but I would like to offer this medical data first, as a token of our gratitude for your assistance."

*Will hands the padd to the Alliance medical officer*

[Ardwyad]

*Ardwyad's eyes are widening, as he hears the High Queen state her true person, and glances almost in disbelief.*
"The High Queen... Really the High Queen? Oh my!"
*Immediately lets himself fall from his chair, onto his knees, and bows deeply in front of the High Queen.*
"Forgive me, your majesty, if I did not treat you according to your rank... I... I did not know."

[Ragolis]

Ragolis was reading the medical-info he had received from one of the humanoids. He had not been aware of the beginning of the ceremony. But suddenly he hears a great bang, he lays the padd down and stands up. He could see many surprised faces but what had caused this surprise. Ragolis walked around the table and then saw Captain Sanchez, a humanoid, laying on the floor.

"What has happend" he asked at Tankalan

But before Tankalan could answer, Ragolis grabbed what looked like a scanning device from his belt and scanned the captain.

"I knew it! I knew it! Just like I said!Just like I said. That mister over there seemed fragile too" Ragolis pointed towards Admiral Vorak

"But he will be allright in some minutes, no harm done."

Ragolis looks at Commander Brooks, who was watching the doctor.

"You can continue the ceremony Commander, your captain is fine. He is just .... ehrm.....just"

Ragolis tries to find an answer so the ceremony can continue

He nods towards Ardwyad that everything was under control.

[Randall Sanchez]

*Sanchez sees how his first officer is aiming for the bottle, with the intention of drinking it all empty. He throws himself on the table to move the bottle away from the reach of Brooks.*
"No, commmanderrrrr, we muzzzzzzt leave something for the otherrssss!"
*Then he sits down again and gives Nick Brooks a strange look.*
"Commander Brooks, it is unheard of to appear at these negotiations in your underwear!"

[Will Karelia]

Admiral Vorak's combadge chirps, and he hears Karelia's voice on the other end.

[Randall Sanchez]

*Shakes his head approvingly.*
"Yes, yes... what he said."

[Randall Sanchez]

*Leans back in his chair, straightens his uniform and whispers to Nick Brooks and Daniel Reeves.*
"And here I thought we could have these negotiations with just the few of us. Now the entire Delta Quadrant is showing up. Before we know it, we'll be negotiating with the Borg too."

[Vorak]

"Those goals are very noble indeed, and strikingly similar to the goals of our Federation. Even though your regulations may be different, in the end we reach for the same aim. I hope that your High Queen is willing to consider a treaty of peace between your faction, and ours. This treaty could be effective in various ways, the exchange of scientific information, technology enhancements, aid in case of perilous situations, trade, and of course... communication between your people, and ours."

[Ardwyad]

"That sounds like a very good proposal, admiral. However, such a case requires the approval of the High Queen first."

[Comm One]

*Bows in a robotic way, for as much as his robust metal body allows him to bow.*
"Your majesty, I am at your service."

[Randall Sanchez]

*Sanchez drinks the glass empty at once. For a moment, no hint of reaction can be seen on his face, and he looks around with a smile.*
"Not bad, this Razanis stuff, it is kinda-"
*Suddenly his face turns flaming red.*
"STRONG!!!!" *Hips*"MMMMmwellllll, itzzz gooood."
*He turns to Nick Brooks, who sits on his left, and it's clear in Sanchez' eyes, that the captain is instantly drunk.*
"Yourrrrrr turrrnnnnn, commmandderrrrrr."
*He wildly grabs the box of salt, spilling half of it, and puts a big handful of it in the handpalm of Brooks, and gives him a funny smile.*
"Theeeee zzzzalt, forrrrrrr the bitterrrrrnesssssss of lifffffe."
*Brooks stares at the salt, not sure if he is willing to swallow such a large amount of salt, since Sanchez put much more in his hand than the others had done before. He takes a deep breath, and swallows it with a bitter face.*
"The Razzzzzanisssssss, tooooooo re... re... re..." *Hips.* "joooooice the soulllllll!"
*He fills the glass of Brooks, spilling alot of it on the table, so that Brooks has to hold the glass closer to the bottle before it is all spilled.*
"I... I... am the passsssst and the fffffffuturrrrre.  Andddddd the future commmmmands. Be... be... bebe... my fffffffffriend for the presentttttttttt. Nowww... DRINK!"
*Then Sanchez drops down on the floor.*

[Nick Brooks]

*The commander looks at his captain, and reluctantly puts his own glass to his mouth, and drinks it empty. Calmly, he puts it back and looks around at all the faces of everyone staring at him.*
"What? I don't feel any effect at all-"
*Suddenly the whole room around him seems as if it is tolling around in circles, and he has to hold on to the table not to fall from his chair. Then he sees the bottle of Razanis in front of him.*
"More! I want more! Now!"

OFF: this is Vorak making this post. Sorry Nick, but the story had to go on and we were waiting nearly 4 days now =/

[Vorak]

"Very well, let us make it so."
*Vorak turns to Koloblicin and nods.*
"Thank you, ambassador, for your kind assistance and hospitality to let us use your embassy facilities for these important negotiations. If you are available some day, please do consider to visit Avalon Station and its embassy facilities as well, if you like."
*Then, Vorak and Karelia head out the door.*

*Sanchez shifts uneasily in his seat again, and glances around the room, noticing that everyone is looking at him in silence, awaiting his reply.*
"Mr. Ardwyad, I understand your reasoning, but my religion is not yours. I don't see how that could change anything."
