In name of Expansion Fleet, I would like to extend my best hopes and wishes to our members who may be living in London or vicinity, or have family members or friends that may possibly have fallen victim to the explosions that occured today in London, UK.

I would like to call on everyone to keep their peace, and not point fingers at anything or anyone. This is likely to be the act of organised terrorism, not of a whole nation, species or religion. It is my sincere hope that this incident will not once again be used as excuse to declare war on entire countries, with the intention to expand power as to gain control over the oil production. Terrorists cannot be captured by bombing whole countries. That way, only innocent people die. Terrorists can only be captured by going after them personally.

If such an act of terrorism would take place in Starfleet, what would captain Kirk, Picard, Sisko or Janeway do? Go about blowing up an entire planet with blazing fire and hope that they killed the criminal in the process?

I don't know if I'd agree with that whole passage, but I will agree that an attack on London is just another instance of terrorists showing not only their disregard for human life, but their cowardice as well.

Also i as a human and as a muslim will offer my condoleance to all who lost there love ones in some kind of "terrorist action" now it is in London, but those as well who sufferd in America, Spain, Iraq, Palenstine, Morocco etc. i send them my condoleance. For me it is clear that my religion wants to spread peace, not war. And i like to invite all to get to know the Islam by its roots, and not by its hearsay.

I will surely visit youre site David, and with all my heart i will light a candle for the world, that it will be saved from all the harshness and grieve.

Dear people,
Again a terrible act of terrorism has impacted our world today. It does not matter where it happened, or how many people fell victim, such an experience remains terrible. First of all, I would like to call everyone in the world to join us in prayer for the people that fell victim to this terrible experience, and I strongly suggest everyone to http://virtualcandle.druidcircle.net.sparks.priorweb.be/" target="_blank">LIGHT A VIRTUAL CANDLE for these people. When terrible things like this occur, it stirs feelings among many people, from the deepest dark emotions. Feelings of pain, fear, anger, revenge. Yet I would like to make a call to the world, not to let negative emotions such as anger and revenge go wild. We Druids are the guardians of peace and balance, and I feel it is our task to regain the balance in this world, and return common sense to the people. Taking revenge will not bring back the dead, it will not stop the terror, it will only make things even worse. This is not a time of revenge, but of inner searching... And that can be done by praying for the people that now need it the most, but also asking ourselves the question: WHY? Why do things like this happen? Why did the terrible 9/11 attack happen? What caused this deep hatred among the people that commited these crimes, that they were willing to sacrifice their own lives to do this?

Anger and hatred does not spring out of nowhere, it is caused for a reason, and then carried on and brooded out. I have once been told to always start looking for the fault within myself, not elsewhere. Only when you can be sure that the fault lies not within yourself, you are entitled to look among others for the fault. Admitting your own fault, is often a very hard thing to do, for many people, but also very noble. For long have I pleaded to people, and been ignored for just as long, to think about why these terrorist attacks occur. Where lies the cause? Was it perhaps something we did, that caused so much hatred among those people? Maybe we should think about that for a little longer than 5 minutes, and start thinking of what we did wrong, before we start pointing at others.

Terrorist attacks like this should by no means be pointed at, by condemning entire nations, races or religion. This is the act of a certain group of people, and by no means do they represent an entire religion, race or nation. Naturally, these terrorists claim to do their actions in the name of their god or gods, and that their actions are holy, but that does not mean that all Muslims, Muhammedans, or any other religious followers, have the same sympathies. Imagine that you are a Christian, and another Christian kills hundreds of people with a bomb... Will you agree with the action because you are a Christian too? If one Druid bombs a city, will all other Druids agree? Certainly not! The actions of these terrorists cannot be justified in any way, but if we allow our anger, revenge and hatred to get the better of us, we prove to be no better.

Therefore, I call out for PEACE! You cannot fight war with war! We, Druids and Keepers of the Balance, carry the responsibility of countring War with Peace! They gave us War, and we shall give them something they never expected: PEACE! I call on everyone to join us in this... light candles, pray to your god(s), spread this word, and unite the world in PEACE! Someone has to make the first step, for our politicians will not do it, so let it be us who will be the bigger people!
