Interceptor Project Under Way

A ship that will dwarf the Excalibur, the USS Interceptor is the newest creation of Starfleet Engineering at Nova Division. The ship is planned to be the largest in current Starfleet commission. Its primary function will be the exploration of space further than Expansions charters. Its size will enable it to go on lone voyages for more than 10 years without aid or re-supply. It will be a moving starbase. No further details have been worked out but a meeting called the Interceptor Conference is to be held at Deep Space 20/Freedom Station the center for Starship construction late this month or early next all starfleet officers interested are invited to attend this week long gathering to discuss design plans and other things for this massive ship.
