Rank will be Lieutenant, report to the Ares and tell them your position.

The Ares is currently being filled by new crew members so there might be a wait for new mission.

....and I respect the choice, but usually it's wise to fill more demanding positions because a medical or science officer is less easily assumed. Should we instead leave it to the captain to choose? Otherwise I'll take that position.

Well, technically, I have an XO, but he rarely posts. But he has been so much help in the past, and I promised him I would save the position for him. But now that I'm back, there isn't enough activity for me to really need an XO.
