Hal couldn't hack or steal info. It's against his programming, and if he were to get that information, he would destroy it or self-destruct.

I don't know how to picture the thing. How it could possibly be in a position, unless it were something like Data. Which I guess it is not? If it is not somehow able to function like that, it would be more like the AI on the ships. Like HERMES, etc. Other than that, it looks like this Hal### is just a thing that floats around and does whatever, which isn't exactly good.

After a  week or two for all to see this, I'll get together a finalized roster with a list of positions, all of them, taken or not.

The positions on Dantor and SS Avalon aren't, the two ships exist with some open spots. But for a Commodore as you are ranked, I think those are your only options. If you have any lower ranked characters, the ships would be open to you.

Im against a Robot being a super computer.  Its one thing having a computer but its another who can hack and steal information then use it for good or ill.  That sorta unbalances everything else out and makes Hal 4700 a lil godly in my opinion of course.  If he was allowed to be a super computer he could virtually have no weaknesses because he would have thought of only strength's which would make our current level of weaponry useless.  Which is why im against this.

Hmmmm, sense I havent heard anything from my Bravo CO, you can take that position with a rank of Captain.  Thats like a Lt. in starfleet terms.  Im not on my computer to really check the ranking of where things stand.  But if you can handle a minor demotion then that place is for you.
