I am a new user here and i'm not sure exactly what i'm doing... should i just start posting stories or do i report to someone or what? :confused:

Anywhere. But I suggest you sign up for a few divisons like I have or just report to Starfleet HQ- see menu. You'll have to register there.

Mr. Willaims, you will see the blue buttons on the left. Click on "Starfleet HQ". A board will load with the first forum "Starfleet Admiral's Office". In this forum you will find a topic where you can post to report for duty. Post there what kind of assignment, and which division you would like.
If you are not registered yet on that board, you can easily do so by clicking "register" on top of the board (not this one, but the one that loads when you click Starfleet HQ).
