Rasmain had been talking to Marcet about station security and after Balkazar had beamed out, both walked to Captain Burma and Commander Skon.

Thank you, Gul. Your engineers lied to you, for nothing is truly unbeatable. I studied Cardassian technology as one of my specializations while I was in the Klingon Military Academy. The security system used here was fairly standard, except for an unexpected lockout or two. But it could be easily bypassed, for the base override code hadn't been changed.

*He climbs in the shaft, opens a panel and begins to turn every switch one by one.*

*Then the newcoming Loxian ships open fire on the Romulan ships, driving them back, and then turn to Vontak Nor and the Skytoucher.*

"Yes, yes! He's got it! The Skytoucher's shields has a shield modulation frequency of 1.8565. If we time our shot well, we can get them dead in space. And they don't know we know, haha!"
"Good! See, I told you how important it was to have a spy among the Loxian rebels, and his presence aboard the Skytoucher will now turn the tide into our favor. Prepare to fire! Aim their engines!"
"Yes, sir! Ready! This shot will penetrate right through their shield at the right moment that the shields wont reflect it, and will hit their engines directly!"
"Good. FIRE!"

OFF: Just to let everyone know, I'm going to be gone from Thursday through Sunday, so I won't be able to post later next week. Since Gul Marcet is leading us through the station, it shouldn't slow the mission down too much, but in case there's a problem, the Doctor is the next-highest ranking member of the Skytoucher on the station, and he should be consulted along with Marcet and Ambassador Zentox...

[Marcet]

"I do not think that is the wisest course of action Mr Omak. I need you here on the station, please take that console over there" Marcet pointed at a console at the far end of OPS.

"Doctor or General Zentox could you assist me in powering up the systems. You need to climb down here, in this shaft and turn all switches. Then I will be able to turn on the main switch and the generators will produce our required power."

[Balkazar]

*Balkazar hooks up threw the stations security cameras to watch Skon and Zentox's backs and notices something peculiar*

*Balkazar looks shocked at what he sees and does a site to site transport to Vontak nor* **Leaves instructions with his security team to watch vakin**

*Balkazar moves over to where he saw the assassin* *sets phaser to stun*

*Whispers to his combadge* *Balkazar to skon*

Just listen....Im on board the station....Didnt mean to disobey orders but I picked up the assassin from teh security cameras from the brig....And i spotted him....Ill explain the rest later but for now keep doing what your doing and dont let anyone know im hear......Dont need to make more of a scene thats neccessary......Ill find the spy.....I know hes in teh room and where he is about.....

*Moves threw the room as casual as possible and sees the assassin aiming to take a shot of zentox*

*fires his phaser and stuns the assassin*

*takes his weapon away and ties him up and searches him for anything else*

Commander...I apologize again for disobeying you but i couldnt turn my back on my duty......*nods to Zentox*.....I guess your out of danger......

Having seen what I've seen since this battle started, I'd agree with you. But...where there is life, there is hope. We might be able to figure out a way to beat these guys just yet. You never know.

Meantime, what's your status? Our repairs are proceeding pretty well, but we lost our warp core during the fight. That's going to be hard to replace. Also, we still don't have contact with the Skytoucher. Have you heard from her?
