*Varnek sees Zentox fall and he howls in triumph. He rushes forward, firing at anyone who moves. Years of advanced training allow him to move through the crowd unharmed, shooting and kicking other Loxians out of the way. He wants to make sure Zentox is dead, but if he can kill a few more of these traitors -- or their starfleet allies -- his mission will be even more successful.*

*He fires again, and his shot hits Skon's hand, just as the Vulcan is reaching for the fallen disrupter. Skon cries out in pain and rolls over. *

"May I suggest that Gul Marcet leads the way?  The computer should recognize him as Cardassian and allow him to pass.  If something triggers a defense mechanism he can then turn it off from the other side of the 'trap.'  I will also try to mask our biological markers and signals with a fake broadcast from the medical tricorder.  It should make the station's EM sensors believe we are a party of Cardassians.  At least until it figures out we're all Gul Marcet,"  he adds, laughing slightly.

(The Doctor grins as he and Lt. Rhade make adjustments to the medical tricorder.)

"I can't ask you to take this advise, Commander Skon, but if the ruse is to work we'll all have to stay within a radius of 6 meters from the tricorder.  This will limit our defensive mobility.  Do you want me to broadcast the signal?"

[Doctor]

"I can spare Lieutenant Rhade if you wish him to help the Skytoucher.  I believe he has some cross-training that may prove valuable.  I must remain here to complete the mission.  Any thoughts, Lieutenant?"

OFF: I think we've been dragging our feet here anyway- this was supposed to be a quick recovery mission.

[Zentox]

*Meanwhile, the Loxian battleships open fire once more.*
"Don't lose track on them! Keep firing until they're disabled!"
"Yes, sir!"
*At that moment the flagship shudders and rocks back and forth.*
"For the sake of Loxius, those humans don't get the hint, do they? Fine, increase firepower, and destroy that ship!"
*And at that moment, all surrounding Loxian ships open heavy fire from all sides on both the ship and the station.*

[Marcet]

"Those bloody Loxians!"

Suddenly Marcet realizes he may have offended General Zentox.

"No offence General..I merely expressing my thoughts about our adversaries."

As more consoles blew, Marcet tried to find an accespanel which was still accesable. He found one and tried to asses the damage.

"Well General, we are capable of fighting back but not if they continue with their rapid firing. They are concentrating their fire upon our weaponssystems and with the shields at 49%....I don't think they will hold much longer, but we will not leave this station without a fight...and I will certainly not leave it behind and be left to these bloody....."*Suddenly Marcet remembers his earlier mistake and doesn't finish his sentence*

[Marcet]

"Well please contact the Skytoucher, and give them clearance to dock."

Marcet looks at his console

Sir This was too important for the combadge......We may have a problem with the.....*hesitates* the Loxian refugees.....It turns out varnek woke up and told my security about a possible threat to your refugees capt.....He said in a very cryptic fashion that I BELIEVE! what he meant was that.....No matter where the refugees go The loxian government will find and kill them all because there supposedly evil...and should be wiped out......I alredy know your not going to allow this capt....But theres something else.....

*Hesitates again*....

It seems that the Loxian gov will track them down no matter where we go with them and kill them.....But the loxian government will also Attempt to kill you Capt Burma......We need to get the refuggees to a safer place........Other then this place......Somewhere where the loxian gov wouldnt dare to look.....And I may have an answer to it.....And it may also be a tad dangerous.....

Sir......I know of a planet thats near the Expanse.....And i know the Cooordinates.....But the planet doesnt really show up on scanners....Hence why its difficult to find....And the Natives wont hurt me or any who travel with me.......There sorta half brothers to me.....

Out of the corner of his eye, Skon sees a second assassin fire. He tries to throw himself at Zentox, but he is too far away and he ends up on the floor.

O'Brien was walking around nearly five minutes now, he hadnt found anything yet, it was so dark, and the mask didn't help, he walked past a beam that was on the ground, surely he had walked past it before, he was almost positive. He pulled out his tricorder and scanned, yes, his was his starting position. O'Brien walked around a bit more to secure the area as he was ordered. Shortly later after assesing the danger as minimal he looked for the others.
