"Commander Skon, I have taken Command of the USS Skytoucher because Captain Burma decided to take a shuttlecraft and explore the strange readings in the Dark Passage, several hours ago. I had no luck in establishing contact with his shuttle but I am sure that he is still out there. The only problem now is that the bridgecrew is low-staffed, we could use the help from one or two officers from your team. I understand that they will have to travel all the way back from your position towards the infiltrationpoint, but if this is possible it would improve our chances on survival. You should also know that the Loxian Fleet is far superiour then us, even with the station's firepower we will not be strong enough to come out of this alive. This should also be explained to Gul Marcet, we will not be able to avoid a fight but we need a plan. Mr Vakin will sent you an updated report on the Loxian Armada in several minutes, I will try to stall their movement and actions until I receive other orders from you or the Captain."

"Brake my neck you say, well when this is all over and the holosuits are fixed, us two will certainly be guests there. But the Hideki Mora you say...well it's sad but my ship has been destroyed. The Skytoucher released the ship from it's tractor when they were aware of the Loxian threat. Admiral Rugal was still aboard and as stubborn as he is, or I need to say was, he decided to fly the ship directly towards the Loxian Armada. The ship rammed 2 cruisers and blew up, with the Admiral aboard....the admiral died in battle, his heroic action will not be forgotten."

At that moment several alarms began to beep

"The Loxian battleships are closing again, General this is the time where we must be at our strongest! We need to defend this station if we want to keep it, you can already consider it your home."

Our communication systems seem to be in a pretty good shape down here, so it seems. But with the Dark Passage interference, I doubt it's possible to simply get a transmission sent through over such a large distance. But perhaps, if we link the comm arrays of the Evolution and the station, we can boost up the signal, and make a small chance of the message getting through.

Agreed, Doctor. Anything we can do to confound the station's sensors will help. As for defensive mobility, at present, our only known threat has been neutralized, so that isn't a primary concern. And if the station's defenses do attack us, we will know that the computer has seen through your deception and we can adjust our movements accordingly.

Gul Marcet, as the humans would say, 'it's your show.' Lead the way.

Mr. O'Brien, take the rear position and watch our backs, just in case.

OFF: Ahh, well, I'm re-registered anyways. BTW - Doctor, I will eventually post this in my biography, but as a former Officer in the Klingon Defense Forces I was also trained in Tactical.

"Understood, sir. The REM readings are quite abnormal. I can only think of few possibilities to explain them. Perhaps the gas has interferred with our equipment or they are simply malfunctioning? Or perhaps the readings are coming from the Soldier, maybe the implant has amplified his REM readings somehow? Another possibilty is that those in stasis are no longer in it? Finally, I do remember reading once of an experimental bio-stasis technology that allowed its user's to dream while in stasis. However, I also remember reading that the prototype unit caused its tester to go insane while in stasis. It literally destroyed his mind. It is possible that this implant prevents that from happening, is it not?"

"Commander Skon,  in the Klingon military, we were taught how to confound their sensors, by using their own secondary sensor arrays to distort readings. I might be possible for me to use one of these terminals to access the secondary protocols, the Cardassians tend not to locked them out. If I can then I might be able to confound the sensors more effectively, offering us much more cover so to speak. I may even be able to create a moving sensor blind spot about us to completely disable their sensing systems. Only a level-8 diagnostic of the sensors would reveal the spot. May I proceed?"

OFF: Level-8 Cardassian diagnostics are the equivalent of a level-2 Starfleet one (according to the DS9 Technical Manual)

"Doctor, could you please verify that the soldier is behind this door, my tricorder is still giving me vague readings."

Marcet pointed at a door to their right.
